Clearly a straight Red imo and stupid by Doucoure, but Kane's diving in every single game is a problem. If not for his flops and PKs that team would probably be relegated.

If you’re going to go to the face, go for an eye so that little bitch doesn’t have to fake it! Otherwise just dumb to go to the face because it’s always a red. Might as well earn it.

Newcastle...you could see it coming for a few years.

West Ham's decline otoh is totally shocking to me.

Wrexham defeated Notts County today in a clash of National League titans. Notts County entered today atop the table tied with Wrexham with 100 points but ahead on GD and having played one additional game. Wrexham won 3-2 with former Premier League keeper Ben Foster saving a penalty in the 6th minute of extra time. Crazy fun game to watch. Wrexham now up three points on NC with four league games left while NC have three league games left.

Season 2 of Welcome to Wrexham could be awesome.

Chelsea, woof. They should just sell everyone and start over. They are the soccer version of “money can’t buy happiness” this season.

Really sucks that the actual final of City vs Madrid is going to happen in the semis. Whoever wins that is going to sleepwalk through the final. None of AC/Inter/Benfica/Napoli can challenge City or RM if the former two are on their games. Napoli probably has the best chance given they’ve had a strong domestic season. AC and Inter have been duds.

In a final anything can happen. I’m not going to argue that either of those teams won’t be large favorites but in one off finals strange things sometimes happen.

Madrid I would be less concerned about because of their tremendous experience in this competition but I could see the pressure getting to Citeh.

I think we’ll see a Milan/Inter battle on the other side, which will make for a couple great games at the San Siro.

They are just a very bloated and flawed squad IMO. Way too many players and nobody other than Aubameyang, who for whatever reason none of the managers want to play, to lead the line offensively so many not playing in their best roles trying to overcome that.

I expect them to find a solid manager, slim down the squad significantly, especially if they miss out on Europe all together, and find a number 9 or who they actually want to play there in the summer and be right back fighting for a champions league spot next season. Which if they don’t have any European distractions will give them an advantage.

Todd Boehly and his first year of Chelsea ownership is giving me serious Dan Snyder vibes. Spend a shit ton of money buying the biggest name players, have no idea what you’re doing and no patience, burn through coaches because you’re impatient, and get left in the end with a big bill and your dick in your hand.

Yeah but the one bit of credit I will give him is he has mostly brought in younger players instead of Snyder’s love of over the hill heros when he arrived.

Someone competent should be able to mold them into a good team IMO if given some time and only having to deal with a reasonable amount of players.

They will definitely have a lot of decisions to make concerning who stays and who goes including guys coming back from loans like Lukaku. The size of their squad is comical.
