This may have happened before in sports, but I've never seen it.

I think it has happened a few times. Sunderland did it after losing 8-0 in the Premier League.

I don't know if any team has ever done it after being demolished at home, as that would be far more expensive. Southampton didn't pay their fans when Leicester beat them 9-0 at their own arena. Then again they didn't pay their fans who travelled to see 9-0 defeat at Old Trafford, either.

Arsenal have looked like shit the last few games. This was inevitable.

I have this in my watch list but haven't yet
Sure it sounds nice but I’m not sure how excited Bale would be about a January trip to Walsal for example. 4th division pitches don’t exactly compare to the Bernabéu either and he couldn’t stay healthy playing there.

I don’t see it happening but it would be a good story.

8 teams with between 62-66 points fighting for the last 2 spots in the EPL promotion playoffs with 2 games to go. Should be entertaining.

Not sure how Spuds are going to be able to convince Kane to stick around after this season. I don’t care who they bring in as manager, there is no way he signs a new contract so they will have to sell him as he will walk away for nothing after next season.

Exactly what Chelsea need?

Kane and MU makes to much sense.
Agreed but they keep talking about how they aren’t planning on spending a ton of money this summer because of all the money they spent last summer and the resulting financial fair play concerns. Could that all be a smokescreen? Sure and I don’t think FFP is that much of a concern for big clubs in general, just look at Chelski’s absurd level of spending over the last year, but it might have some effect and Levy does always drive a hard bargain. They have a few high earners like Maguire they will be offloading to help balance the books also I assume. But yeah if I was predicting where Kane ends up it would be ManUre.

I think Kane to MU made sense maybe a year or two ago when Bruno was the only guy putting them in. But now they have significantly more firepower up front.

I don't know if any rumors are out there or if I'm just making shit up, but Newcastle seems like a surprise option. They could be in the CL next year and though Toney and Mbuembo are decent up front, Kane would give them another scoring threat that would possibly put them even further into elite territory. Their owners also have the deep pockets.

If he wants to win trophies he'll have a better chance with MU than Newcastle.
Newcastle could be a one time wonder. I want to see them playing every 3 days next year. Don't think they will perform as good as this year.

We still need a striker, a number 9. + Since MU will certainly play in 3-4 competitions at least until February-March we need depth too.

Anthony-Bruno-Rashford
---------Kane-----------

Martial probably out. Sancho maybe too.
Pelistri-Garnacho-Elanga is ok for rotation.

I don’t think any of ManUre’s forwards’ best position is at the 9 though. Rashford and Martial can play there but they both prefer to be coming in off the left wing.

And yes I agree that Newcastle could throw a wrench in ManUre’s plan to add Kane. I could definitely see Levy setting a very high price, ManUre balking at it thinking they can likely get it down a reasonable amount, and Newcastle saying fine just because they can and paying the asking price.

Kane will turn 30 this summer and I expect Levy’s initial ask to be around £120 million, if not more. That is an insane amount for a guy that age and not something I would expect anyone not backed by oil money to pay. But I could see Newcastle doing it.

Kane breaking Shearer’s EPL record while wearing the barcode would be pretty cool.

Interesting that there's talk of Messi back to Barca and CR7 back to RM at the same time
