This might be the most reckless I've ever seen either of these two teams play

This is either too harsh or it should be the new standard in soccer.

So much fakery and manipulation of officials goes on, why suspend for this but not the rest?
The idea of retroactively re-refereeing these types of incidents gives me pause because the process will likely be very flawed and what does and what does not get re-refereed will be very controversial.

But once that all gets ironed out, and my guess is it would take 3-4 years to get to an acceptable standard, I agree it would be better for the game.

Like a lot of things, the idea is fine/good but the execution will be much less so.

Scoring goals and getting cleated.

Good. Arteta clearly lit a fire under his ass at half because he was way off in the first.

Trossard has been damn good and could make Nketiah expendable. No finish in the latter.

And Odegaard...that dude probably makes a few fakes when pouring cream in his coffee. Tricky af

Would have been very Arsenal to drop points today.

Very one-sided game but a bit nervy for the last 10 or so minutes.

In years past they would've blown that lead and then given up another in stoppage time.

Progress, I guess.

Happy with most of the players, but White and Gabriel continue to give me ulcers with the unforced errors and dumb shit they do sometimes.

Love that Martinelli got on the scoresheet but in the first half (like many other games this year) the offensive momentum died when he stalled in the corner. How many times do you need to fake the cross, bro? The first time you get the opening, take it.

wow….that’s my team!
