True footie fans will still expect him to hop off the table right before the anesthesia kicks in and run back onto the field.

Potter lives to fight another day. And with 3 very winnable games coming up in the league, at Leicester, home to Everton, and home to Villa, he might right this ship yet. But hard to see how they are playing in the champions league next season unless they somehow win it this year.

Those are also 3 very loseable trap games against upredictible opponents, two of which are struggling to stay clear of relegation.

We'll see.

Well it’s not like they’ve got Citeh, ManUre, and Liverpool coming up. They’ve got to play someone.

2 wins in a row has to mean something after being so poor for so long.

PSG about to light another mountain of cash on fire
Hate to see super teams funded by global oil tycoons whose fortunes are made on the callous exploitation of slaves, er, I mean, “migrant workers” go up in flames. Just tough to see.

Not looking good for Spurs either. Down 1-0 in aggregate and down to 10 men on the field.

Man what a great pickup Trossard has been. Love him on the left side feeding the ball in or driving the middle of the pitch.

Kind of frustrating hearing the announcers dump on Ream and Robinson for that Martinelli header when their RB has been getting abused every time they’ve run down his side and he let Troussard get the free cross to Martinelli for the second goal. Tete is also super lucky Martinelli was offside by a whisker on the overturned goal because he got caught napping while Martinelli slipped behind him on the through ball. He’s been awful today, every run down his side is a free scoring opportunity.

Fulham D just getting eaten up. Another great feed from Trossard that should've made it 3-0 but Xhaka has had the yips lately.

Then Trossard puts one wide. Should be 4-0.

Sure Tete is getting roasted down that right side but Robinson’s defending on the 2nd goal was terrible. You have to at least try to challenge for the ball.

No arguments here. Just saying it was frustrating not hearing them comment at all how poor he’s been and placing all of the blame on Ream and Robinson.

In fairness to the Fulham defense that was A-game Arsenal yesterday with deft, tricky, and quick first-touch passing and movement a la prime tiki-taka. The entire team seemed to floating above the pitch.

Not many teams are going to be able to keep up with them if Odegaard and Trossard execute at that level at the same time. Imagine when Jesus returns to full form, which may be soon based on his sub-in.

And speaking again of Trossard, he was their MOTM for good reason. Aside from the offensive display he seemed to be everywhere on the pitch defensively, anticipating the play and disrupting effectively.

Haaland with 5 goals and still over 30 min to play.
Part of me applauds Leipzig’s sportsmanship in not going very physical/dirty after it went 4-0 and the of part of me wonders where the pride is to not make sure Citeh at least knows they played a game today. They haven’t put in even a reasonable challenge in 20 minutes.

They have the demeanor of a team that went in expecting exactly this.

The way they kept pressing high up the field and leaving tons of space for Citeh to rip through them again and again made no sense. They have relegation threatened Bochum this weekend and it will be interesting to see how they react to this thrashing.
