I don’t know how tiebreakers work, but is there any scenario where we don’t play either Florida or the Rangers? Like, if the Islanders and Panthers both end up at 93 points?

Either Panthers or Rangers. The tiebreakers are irrelevant because if both Isles and Panthers finish with 93 that means Canes finish with 113 and we can’t catch them.

Panthers win and we win then it’s Panthers. Canes win and it’s Rangers.

I haven’t looked at the standings but tiebreaker goes as follows regulation wins if both teams are tied with same amount of regulation wins then regulation/overtime wins will be the second tie breaker.

Getting the Panthers or Rangers round 1 is gonna be feel like a blast to 2012 except we have home ice in both series this year.

I think Florida beats Carolina on Thursday. 3rd in 4 nights for the Canes with 2 of those being on the road and one of those in Canada.

Win-win in my book. I want the Rangers for the fact we match up well versus them but I don't fear Florida either. They're a worse matchup but they're going to go into that series with possibly a Kinkaid/Schenider dynamic in Lyon/Bob.

My nephew is convinced I started it. I'm not sure, especially as it's really hard to clearly hear the lower bowl from up there.

It definitely felt like I was the only one saying it then a few others joined right when I was about to give and then suddenly the whole place was doing it.

Cool feeling either way.

Absolutely one of the most fun regular season games I've been to in a long while.

Place was full, it was loud, everyone was having fun though you could tell everyone was itching for that Jack point.

Poor fancy stats aside, it never felt like we were in danger of losing that game to me.

Place erupted for Jack breaking the record.

Was a weird moment after we scored the 4th goal I think where the 100s behind the goal to my right where doing spell Devils chant while the 100s to my left were doing R&RPt2 accapella creating a discordant mess

I was legitimately annoyed I was deprived a live Jack interview, but Tatar did deserve it.

Couldn't hear a word he said though, audio wasn't traveling from the PA system into the 200s all that clearly.

I recall Graves making some big defensive plays too.

Quiet game from Timo offensively but he still trucked a few guys.

PP sucked.

Vitek looked really sharp, especially in the 2nd when Buffalo was making their biggest push.
