GDT: Devils vs. Sabres - Match up Shenanigans

Unless the Penguins choke at home against Chicago tonight AND the Islanders lose at home to Montreal tomorrow, the Panthers will have something on the line to play for on Thursday against Carolina.
Florida will also be coming off two days of rest, while the Hurricanes will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights, traveling from Ottawa to Carolina to Florida during that span.
We're at least fortunate we have Buffalo coming off a back-to-back, while the Devils have had 2 days off. Sabres have a brutal schedule to end the season - 4 games in 5 nights, 3 of which are on the road and 7 games in 10 nights overall. If I recall correctly, one of those games must've been rescheduled due to snow - probably Friday's game vs. Columbus.

Yea Buffalo is on a back to back and 3 in 4 nights bender. Kind of like what happened to us in Winnipeg.

I hate the Sabres . More than I should as they have been irrelevant fur so long but they won’t be anymore and will probably be battling with us for tops in the East for a long time .
If Levi turns out to be as hood as people say , they will be a playoff team for sure next year.
They looked good last night against the Rays and are playing desperate hockey.
We will have to play a clean 60 minutes to beat these clowns.
Huge chance to put pressure on the Canes for 1st in the Metro . Plus need to make sure we get home ice over the Rags .

Genuinely curious why you would “hate” the Sabres. They’re one of the few teams in the East I don’t have any particular disdain for.
Same. I'm sure I'll develop some hate for them over the next few seasons as they're going to be right up there with us, but I've always liked Buffalo (as much as I can like another NHL team). Glad they're on the upswing - city/fans deserve it.

I don’t hate them as much as I hate the Rangers / Philly / Pens. Im nkt sure exactly what it is but ever since Hasek days I have disliked them. I guess it’s the tank job they and their fans did to try to get McD That and there GM and managaement were all pissy when they lost the lotto for McD. Their fans were cheering goals scored agaimst them lice at their own rink. Just runs me the wrong way amd nkw they are going to be stacked and a force even with jokers running the team.
