As a goalie theres nothing better during the game then having a good pk. It really is a big confidence boost, more shots the bigger the boost.

Personally I like being shorthanded, pref if we aren't losing. Nothings better then a series of shots in a short span of time.

If you are not assuming, "we are going to bring him back", how does your previous comment about him not wanting to leave the area and perhaps refuse trades make any logical sense?

Because one, he can cross that bridge when he comes to it. He doesn't need to do it before. Secondarily, if he's a free agent, while we may not want to bring him back, another team in the northeast may. This also allows his family time to prepare, check where they want to go that would work and plan, particularly around their son's health / doctor / etc. There is a world of difference in deciding what you want to do as a free agent and getting traded to some random team. He's possibly not picking up his entire family to move around with him if traded - if he signs as a free agent somewhere, they are probably more likely to go as a family then they would be as a 3 month rental.

LIS, just don't be shocked if he's not traded.
