How is a team supposed to play physical when stuff like that is called a penalty?
He had a goal last game, but he's in another one of his patented streaks where he barely produces, which he's been famous for this year.
I'm afraid of him having another one of his 5 points in 22 game streaks or whatever before the deadline. I think he's got one point in his last 7 or 8 right now.
That doesnt make sense.
Boyle is an UFA & could just sign with NJ after the season if the team still wants him. He'd only be "away" from his son for 2 to 3.5 months at most.
He willI am still going to hold out hope that Zacha is going to breakout. Too much skill.
You're assuming that A) we are going to bring him back, and B) that 2-3.5 months isn't a really long time to be away from your son, miss doctors appointments, put these things on your spouse, etc. We have no idea what's going on in his personal life with regards to these things. It can make all the sense in the world. And frankly, doesn't have to make sense to you or I, just has to make sense to him.
Couldn't disagree more. Our lack of defense is the main reason why we are where we are. Throw Brodeur in net with our "defense" this year and he would also look bad.
I honestly think that lately the goalie management has been horrible.
1. You automatically dont help cory by spot starting a "starter" once a week and hope for him to get out of his slump.
2. Same applied to kk shortly before Christmas when he was in his slump and they didnt play him for a week or 2.
3. You overplay blackwood when hes not used to, and cant handle an nhl workload. That sets him up for failure asking too much too early.
Really curious to see what happens when Cory's rehab is over...
I could see blackwood being part of a trade package this offseason based on his decent performance.
