Hockey IQ is one of the most interesting things to evaluate.Who else on the Rangers has low hockey IQ? Is there any stat involving this evaluation?
Just turned the game on. This team really has no idea how to tank. Sigh...
Off the top of my head, Vesey, Shattenkirk, Chytil, Pionk, Skjei, and Smith all have varying circumstances where they are in the wrong place, doing the wrong thing, or completely single minded with what they're doing. ADA did this for a while doing bad pinches and then never rotating back to D.
Low hockey IQ doesn't mean "makes a mistake" its kinda more expansive than that. It's knowing the situation, what is the ideal outcome, and how best you can accomplish that with your position and ability. And then doing the opposite of that.
Have they shown any of the healthy scratches on screen yet?
I Imagine they have had meetings with management backstage about theire situations..
Conserve energy for DC tomorrowUmmm....Rangers....you're up 3-0, that doesn't mean you stop playing.
OOps!! Never mind. I thought we were on the PP.. LOL!!
No room for quitters up there.Does Mark Pavelich deserve to have his number in the rafters?
JD Power ranked Seney #1 for tool reliabilityWeird that Brett Seney is already in Chevy commercials
Why would it be constant? Hockey is learned behavior. :thinking:I would assume that hockey IQ is a constant. Can't get better or worse. Might as well deal Chytil now if your evaluation is correct.
No. Not true. DeAngelo’s IQ has improved significantly. I always loved him, but I was worried about his below average hockey IQ. And now I’m not worriedI would assume that hockey IQ is a constant. Can't get better or worse. Might as well deal Chytil now if your evaluation is correct.
