Until a person spends a couple seasons or more in the crease, they have no idea what you are talking about. I was there for nearly 45 years from high school, to the NCAA, to playing with a defunct group of excellent pros, to a beer league. No one who hasn't been there will ever understand you. I stopped trying decades ago. I often wonder if this thread's go to goalie analyst has ever been there himself. He calls a lot of goals the keeper had little to no chance on soft goals. The rest of the critics here are way off and therefore it's a waste of time to wade in on like you do so often. As long as you don't mind the abuse, go for it! LOL I enjoy the interactions.

Nope, because what they did came naturally and asking others to do what they did can't be put into words or demonstrated. If they do demonstrate it or show it on video, those watching are awed and wonder why someone would expect them to be able to think when to do what the others do by instinct is impossible. Gretzky didn't "learn" to do what he did, he just did it.
They’re on a road trip far away from their minor league team so he came on the trip in case someone in the top 6 played poorly or got hurt.
I've said it a multitude of times that a "kid" needs to play and if he's going to sit or be used sparingly, he should be sent to the farm where he plays in every situation in every game. If he plays against the best in the AHL, he's still learning what he needs to do at both levels. If you play him down the lineup, he isn't, because he's already too good for those players.
The team doesn't really have a guy that seems to fit correctly with those two. They've tried just about everyone at this point and all have done ok but none have been great. Maybe Noesen would work a bit better but he's slow.
I think the speed thing might be overrated with who plays with those guys. If you had someone who couldn't keep up on a breakout/entry that may actually benefit them. Built in trailer who doesn't distract from what they do and be sort of a 'stay at home' forward. Palat just gets in the way and is a black hole if he ever ends up with the puck.
