New one for you guys for the second half push! For those who enjoy, enjoy!
God I hate Kyrie Irving.Fitz couldn't match that package for Kevin Durant!? Unbelievable...
True love stories never have endings…X2, @Its Always Sundstrom you the real MVP always liking and laughing at my posts
They call it madness, but we call it love, Pepe, Dano love. Oh my.
I mean, this is pretty cool, thank you but there’s a poster in Edmonton who might have the title wrapped up.@Its Always Sundstrom Absolute legend. Most likely responsible for 50% of all our “like” counts lol!
I was told there would be no exams.Reading 10 pages of the theard is something like study the science before exam in my university days.
@Its Always Sundstrom is always makes our days better.
Devils or new team should give him time to mature and learn on the fly. He is very talented and very raw.
Its very interesting how many raw talents Castron squad drafted. And may be only Mercer and Nemec looked good enough from any side.(outside from top-1 picks).
what did these working men (no neil peart yet) make to play this high school gym back then?
as good as players as they are/were there's plenty of tempo shifts thats are there for the wrong reason and sound sloppy... but when they get to speed its go go go
the beginning and especially the end are so not 'in groove' at all
it f***s the riff

Brian Gionta started in the bottom six but he also had a total of
3 points (1G 2A) in his first 16 GP (12:13 ATOI)
7 points (3G 4A) in his first 34 GP (13:14 ATOI)
He ended up with
11 points (4G 7A) in 35 GP in his 1st season because he had 4 points (1G 3A) in his last game. (Ending with 13:25 ATOI.)
Holtz has 4 points (3G 1A) in 18 GP this season but only 10:18 ATOI.
Holtz’s 5v5 TOI/GP is 8:12.
I don’t know if you can find another young Devils player of note (good or bad) that got so little ice time. Matteau and Quenneville got more ice time and it wasn’t because they were better.
dang those options outside of timo aren't really that appealing. maybe bertuzzi for a middle six role as a rental assuming the cost isn't exorbitant. just absolutely f***ing not brock boeser lolDevils trade board: Timo Meier, Brock Boeser and other high-caliber wingers to target
The Devils are buying at the deadline and their priority is to bolster their winger depth. What options do they have?theathletic.com
Besides Meir - a bunch of “meh” options.
The only remotely interesting name I haven’t thought of before is Barbashev, but as the article states, he seems like the kind of guy that teams will overpay for at the deadline. So if that’s the case, no thanks.
Tarasenko I wouldn’t be opposed to either, but price and contract status are big question marks.

I think that’s a bit of my frustration too.My frustration with Holtz’s treatment is really boiling over. This isn’t a case of no room, we have like four or five forwards that are doing nothing with their shifts, and our secondary scoring has dried up. We badly need exactly what Holtz brings. What in god’s name is he doing in the press box? He’s shown significant improvement pretty much every game he’s played. It’s just asinine at this point.
I think that’s a bit of my frustration too.
When the team was playing awesome without Holtz then it made sense not to mess with a good thing.
Now the team isn’t playing great, arguably spends half of the games playing poorly, and Holtz still can’t get in.
I believe he can learn things in practice and the press box but I also think it’s unfair to not play him for a month, roll him out for 2-3 games on the 4th line for 10 minutes, and then yank him for not being impactful. There are bunches of players not being impactful most nights and they could all go into a rotation so they play 3-5 games at a time before sitting a game or two. If those guys aren’t going to play well, at least they can play fresh and with energy.
Personally, I’m willing to crater Bratt or Jack for half a game for a few games in a row to give Holtz a chance to play with players that like to carry the puck. Maybe they click and Holtz spends the whole game with those guys but give him at least part of a few games in a row with guys he may be complimentary with rather than mostly play him with guys whose style he doesn’t fit with.
Palat and Bratt are the only guys that probably should locks to play with Hughes or Nico every night. (Unless you move Bratt to his own like to try and really spread the offense out)Maybe its a role thing more for Holtz?
Those guys we are talking about have other impacts on the game. PK, PP (which Holtz could and should play on), better at forechecking, faceoffs, physical play, etc.
Who should Holtz replace in the lineup on a nightly bases that will get him into the top 6? Honest questions not trying to troll anyone.

Good skater, better offensively then defensive but I think fair to say he is a pretty good 2-way 2nd pair guy. Can play PK and PP, but shouldn't be on a top unit in either situation. Looks for constructive breakout passes but that can lead to some boneheaded mistakes.Hi, Oilers fan coming in peace. I know nothing about Damon Severson.
What's the scouting report and what do you see as a comparable contract for his next deal?
