This report makes sense given that there was speculation they were waiting for the special event at the Sharks game tonight before making the moves.

I'm not, I don't have twitter. I have some random account I made just to not get locked out with the "sign up now" thing when I click on tweets people post. But I have it saved and if I ever log out I have no idea what the name or password is.

So I actually like when people post them.

No, him saying SJ turned down a strong offer and offering a contract estimate. Strickland has league contacts but mostly he gets stuff through St Louis.

His value judgements suggest to me he knows exactly what a team offered and for him that usually means St Louis.

I think it’s possible St Louis think the Devils are front runners but I don’t think it comes from SJ knowledge.

Doubt it.
He’s a blues insider.
Seems more like STL are probably one of the teams that got narrowed out (as Lebrun suggested) and so Strickland is basically feeding that to the fans for them.
SJS turned down a strong offer from STL and Meier’s contract is gonna cost to much anyways.
The devils stuff is likely just pure speculation and throwing some other crap in the tweet.

I doubt he’s salty at all. More likely just being a mouthpiece for the team telling the fans that they made a strong offer and Meier’s contract will cost too much anyways.
