Thats underselling boeser, who historically has been much better than a 20-40 guy on a rate basis.

He’s not incredible or anything, but he’s a finisher and pretty good on the PP and if we were getting him for Miles wood money? Yeah sure why not.

So, I frigging hate Boeser, always have, esp bc his knock hasn't always been JUST the injuries. Right now reading the Canucks board there is an element of lack of motivation, drive and confidence. It seems like he's recently caught no-shoot-itis, and his shot is really all he's got.

That said...deep breath... I think he's a great buy low reclamation project. I grimace when I say that bc I'm pretty sure we would be getting a less likable broken Pavel Zacha.

If there's no Meier and we MUST add, I'd welcome the guy and applaud the move and look forward to page after page of whipping boy post game threads. But honestly, I'd prefer Duclair if we go for scorer and if much prefer a young third line guy who is fast and crashes into everything like Wood should be doing so that Mercer or Tatar could shovel a puck into an empty net.

If we don't get Meier this page will have the "Fitz couldn't beat that?" posts for a few days. If we do get Meier certain people will say it's too much of a price to pay, complain about the extension assuming there is one, etc. It's a lose-lose situation for some of y'all regardless.

For sure this will happen. Especially if Bratt is not signed . Even if Bratt flat out refuses to sign a reasonable contract, not matter what , it will be blamed on the Meier acquisition right or wrong.

If I didn't know any better I would think he was trying to lobby to get a spot on Tocchet's coaching staff.

Jack and Nico are budding stars in this league. They showed signs of their potential every season and it finally came together.

Mac is really winning me over these days. His devotion to fight through injury and carry the team on his back is impressive.

The majority of the goalies in this league are incredible.

Charts are worthless.

Boeser can't stay healthy. He's never played 70 games in a season, has he? And several times under 60. His PPG is that of a 70 point player in a full season but if he doesn't play a full season, meh. And if he has slow speed how is he better than Holtz?
