Dear god how was this only three years ago?
Still not as bad as the toilet paper roster but WOOF!

Both RD3 and veteran backup goalie are probably more important than we expect. I’d keep some cap for those two spots. Having a veteran righty as a depth defender would also be nice in case Nemec needs more development timeDoubt we target forwards as we will have Boqvist, McLeod, Lazar, and Bastian. Plus guys like Foote and Clarke sprinkled in.
On defense for a bottom pairing role, you’re looking at Gudas, Clifton, Soucy, Kulikov, Holl, Mikkola, Stetcher, Holden, Schenn, De Han, Hagg, Pysyk. Not really much out there. Targeting a cap dump like Forbort/Reilly is also a possibility.
For goaltenders, you’re looking at Nedeljkovic, Stolarz, Greiss, Rittich, Subban, Dell, Tokarski, Lyon, Fucale, Hellberg, Stalock, Kinkaid, and a couple of unproven guys like Sheppard/DAccord who have posted good AHL numbers but haven’t gotten the chance.
That’s a good point! The ballpark number for timo’s contract has to be agreed upon, I would imagine fitz wouldn’t be adding this decent sized salary if he didn’t have the number for timo agreed upon
Literally every person on that roster (assuming Wood goes elsewhere) is gone other than the big three of Jack, Nico and Bratt except McLeod lol. And this was like a minute and a half before the pandemic started.Seeing Wood penciled in on the top line is giving me hives.

Where did TT play on the PP?
Looks like the half wall where jack playsWhere did TT play on the PP?

Jack played the half wall? I couldn't tell. He seemed like he was on every inch of ice at once.
I think there’s still a chance we sign one just because our AHL depth would be limited. Just might mean Holtz starts in Utica. Otherwise if we go in as is, our first (and maybe only decent) call-ups are Clarke and Thompson.Doubt we target forwards as we will have Boqvist, McLeod, Lazar, and Bastian. That’s Jacks spot. I’d put Toffoli in the bumper.Big upside with Toffoli on the PP with that right handed shot. Not having an effective top sixer with a right shot to put on that left half wall has been a structural problem for us since Palmieri left. Hope is Holtz will be there in the long term, but this fixes it right away. Mercer could also see time there.
Wonder when the investigation findings come out. It was supposed to be shortly after the season ended... because regardless of what everyone thinks, McLeod needs to be charged/convicted of something other wise Fitz is going to want him back...it's ok, I too am wishcasting mikey off this team
I agree with this. Think Foote will get a chance, hopefully he improves his foot speed.I actually envision Foote or Lazar in at 4LW. I think Boqvist rotates in on the 3rd line.

Perhaps, but I highly doubt whoever they sign is going to be a serious NHL option.I think there’s still a chance we sign one just because our AHL depth would be limited.
