Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. We traded a third that we got for signing rights of a player who wouldn't be on the roster next year and another player that wasn't going to be on the roster next year. Think of it that way.

I think you leave Boqvist and Holtz or Clarke to fight for or rotate in the last top 9 spot. Bring in a good bottom 6 guy.
It’s time everyone including myself stops trying to guess at what Fitz might do. It is truly not possible to do and not worth the time. Just know with confidence that he will give us a nice surprise.

Wouldn’t be suprised if we don’t add another forward. If we do it’ll just be a bottom 6 guy I’d imagine (ideally with some speed). If we do it likely pushes Holtz down to Utica again to start the season.

Think Holtz and Toffoli could be switched as well as Boqvist and Foote depending on performance and what you’re looking for. Boqvist can play up the lineup in the case of injuries (and maybe Foote) and Clarke is a solid top 9 call-up.

We just got more experienced, bigger and better able to stand up to puck pressure (Toffoli is 6 feet and 200 lbs), more right handed (a problem last year), and tougher. Better at finishing. When we meet the likes of Carolina again (or Vegas for example, etc.) we can stand up to that game better. Good move. Not sure what it means cap wise.

100% I expect it. Fits this time frame like a glove. If Fitz has a doubt about the duo we have he isn’t going to waste a year to find out

It would surprise me just given the contract. Think they’ll be way too far apart and Fitz is pretty conservative and patient when it comes to the contract. And think the trade price will be too steep to risk losing him in a year.

Everyone who is penciling Bratt or Toffoli at LW, they both have exclusively played the right side. And I personally have zero reason to think that will change. It’s either gonna be Haula or Mercer at 3C is my assumption barring any more top 9 impacting moves up front

not much LW at all IIRC at least the past couple seasons. He has that maneuverability off the rush that suits the off wing.

Fitzgerald also spoke glowingly of Foote, wouldn't be surprised to see him as one of the favorites for an open spot heading into camp. Basically now have 11 locks for the roster at forward, not including Boqvist, Holtz, Clarke, Foote or Thompson.
