JESPER BRATWURST
I know this was yesterday but...
The Man did Work.
The Man did Work.
At the Fillmore east I do remember the Who burning their guitars at the end of their show.Wow. You are even older than me. Who else did you see back then?
Where is Rich Chernomaz on this? My god.Probably need a little more Lyle Odelein on D and definitely some Steve Thomas and Reid Simpson at forward.
Just weird bashing someone for trading 2nd and 3rd round picks while those pics went on to do nothing themselves.
Don't forget about @Guadana and I lauding the greatness of Led Zeppelin.I take a break from HFboards for a few days, and I come back to see an additional 30 plus tabs thinking something dope went down..
Nope, it just you guys picking up old debates and picking fights. Love it.
I don’t care too much about the past, but you don’t get Fitz without Ray.

That’s way overblown. It’s literally one song, a drum intro, a guitar intro, and a few scattered words here and there. Most groups have grabbed similarly. And all the bands and blues legends they stole from

This is where I think the Miller signing is actually pretty under the radar significant. It allows us to not have to roll out Nemec and Hughes just yet with a 3rd relatively unproven D in Bahl. 1/3 is better than 1/2 in the respect.Definitely can be a solid group...
but it's hard to ignore that a 1/3 of the defense no full season NHL experience.
All Hail Akira.I’m way more concerned about our goaltending than defense, and I’m not that concerned about goaltending.
Graves was meh at the end here and Severson is a loss but he was a 3rd pairing guy for us. I trust Hughes can have an immediate impact (given his play with us at the end of the season I don’t see why not, even if it was a small sample size) and that Bahl can hold his own. Hopefully he can PK.
I can see a small drop off on D, but nothing dramatic and it’s obviously for the best moving forward.
No they wouldn't, this is almost laughable. This is risible on its face. The Devils got huge results up and down the lineup - Jack Hughes could've missed every game last year and the Devils still would've made the playoffs, though it would've been much closer.
At least the majority of their fans are realisticLOLZ

Fair enough ... I would defer to you as to whether specific scouts/GMs/teams have a track record of "outperforming" with their later-round picks. If so, then that would certainly bear out the smarter people theory. Obviously, the Devils staff felt that Bratt had more upside vs. anyone else that was out there and, if so, they deserve credit for seeing that when no other team did. My point was (and is) that they didn't deem him worthy of being picked earlier.Never saw Zeppelin, but I saw the Stones on the Steel Wheels tour at Shea Stadium. I was a kid then. I'm pretty sure you're older haha. You probably saw the Jimi Hendrix experience. Heck, I wouldn't be shocked if I learned you went to a Mozart concert.
I don't like the lottery ticket analogy because it insinuates drafting late is all luck. Sure, there's some luck involved, but you increase that luck with good scouting and draft philosophy. It's more like a suicide pool -- sure, luck is greatly involved, but the smarter people have a far better chance of hitting it big.
I mean they had the best regular season in franchise history. Yes Jack was a big part of that, but they definitely could’ve managed to squeeze in.This is where I think the Miller signing is actually pretty under the radar significant. We must believe in luck. For how else can we explain the success of those we don't like? And Brock Faber. Another typical hockey player to be favorite on Guadanas lists. I spent a lot of time to tell why Schneider should be drafted in the first round or at least by top 20 pick, but I
There are no luck. People who think that trading picks is okay and they cost nothing , just dint understand what they are talking about. Good scouts drafting good players regularly in later rounds. Some will not translate the game on the new level, some will do it. This is literally how some teams have 10-15 prospects with nhl potential and some teams haven't even 5.
Agreed on Miller. TT keeps getting forgotten about too. He brings so much that gets underrated and could help a young team take another step. This is where I think the Miller signing is actually pretty under the radar significant. I don`t see any problem in stoling in music. In the form in which fans discuss it - it's nothing more than outrage. And all the bands and blues legends they stole from
it’s hilarious that lou STILL can’t compete in a salary cap league. what a senile embarrassment he is. it’s like seeing someone you admired growing up eating moose shit in a walgreens parking lot. patheticLOLZ
