Understandable! I've clarified and apologized for that whole debacle countless times! Again, I'm sure that doesn't make it in here, only the slander, but it's been explained and apologized for over and over again.

I.e. they like to get expressive and sometimes emotional, make posts in jest, etc. The poster that you screenshotted was mostly kidding and does so in many of his posts (at least based on my frequent lurking of this forum). No one is going to actually assault you.

Long story short is that I was told the deal was as good as done and would be finished up in the next few days from a credible source that I have gotten verifiable information from in the past and even since then. I took that and ran with it and tweeted that it was done (I got over-excited to be the first to break something) and it turns out the info that the person had given me wasn't a done deal, it was just the devils offer to Bratt. Bratt subsequently did not agree to their offer and we all know the rest of the story.

I was wrong, I misfired, and I apologized the moment I found out it wasn't coming to fruition the way that I thought it would.

It was not some elaborate scheme to trick people or lie for followers or whatever I was accused of. It was a mistake that I own.

Since then, I have broken other smaller news that has been correct (which I'm sure did not make its way in here) but ultimately decided it's not something I want to do anymore and have not done in a while.

I really don’t wanna physically assault you. I’m not a violent person, although my posts have sometimes suggested a firestorm and nuclear bomb droppage on members of the goalie union, particularly every goalie the Devils have iced in the last decade, including the twilight era Brodeur.

Honestly, and I really mean this in all sincerity. Not too many hours after my post regarding assaulting you last night, one of my no-count neighbors (not sure who, but someone in the neighborhood) let their dog get out and it was outside barking as loud as can be at 12:30-1:00 AM. Not sure if these people work nights and it was just an accident that their dog got out or if they’re just incompetent assholes who shouldn’t own a dog, and maybe they somehow either slept through the dog barking or just didn’t care.

My point being, I remember thinking at one point “talk about physically assaulting someone. f*** these people man!” And I can tell you that episode (including some other fairly recent annoyances in my neighborhood, like the assholes that had their hazards coming right through my bedroom window, despite the fact that no other cars are coming down this road at 3:00 AM that are gonna barrel into their truck parked on the side of the road. And then the f***s somewhere around here that shot fireworks off every hour until 4:00 AM on January 1st and trying to give my dog a heart attack and keeping people like me who had to work up all night) made me infinitely more angry than anything you’ve ever posted.

I remember one poster starved himself down to a bag of bones because he burned so many calories defending Kinkaid that he just couldn’t consume enough food to keep up with the massive caloric deficit he was creating by the Kinkaid apologies.

And then there was the other one who proclaimed that Kinkaid was definitely a starting goalie and would be soon enough and that he’ll be better than Holtby soon.

He was absolutely right on the Holtby part, as Kinkaid is definitely better than Holtby in 2022. He’s definitely gonna have a way better season than Holtby this year, considering Holtby is not an active pro hockey player this season.

He was good here, but he probably overachieved his second year here and he followed it up with a massively awful year the next season.

His last season here was as bad as any goalie we’ve seen since, but he was also 39 years old and was playing way more games than he should have, due to a very stubborn head coach (who has a continued history of being very stubborn with riding and dying with a goalie) that I think gave him a career high in games played at 39 years old and wouldn’t give someone else a try. It’s hard to imagine the then-23 year old Kinkaid having been as bad as him, especially if he only had to play a handful or a half a dozen games before Marty got healthy again and came back.

Not sure that's true, tbh. Keith has had expected goals saved numbers below zero 3 of the last 4 years (and probably farther back I just don't care to keep checking).

Suspect Holtby will have a mark of 0 this seaosn.
