You're right, but like I said ''Irrational paranoia'' on my part.

There were quite a few signs early on that he was falling out of favor here. From being sheltered at who he was matched up against on the other team, to being taken off the first unit of the power play and even the second unit for a time.

And then like literally as soon as Elliotte Friedman got on HNIC (which I just so happened to be watching live when it happened) and said Vancouver is interested, we started to boost his ice time, his power play time and then he even had a little bender after that.

You would still say logic and reason say he won't be here next year, but I'll be hiding under a rock and shaking and probably wetting myself until he's gone.

Just because you are irrationally paranoid doesn’t mean that you don’t have every reason to believe that the Devils are actually out to get you.

He made two great derensive plays on that play at least.

As I’ve said . He has provided good mins on that third pairing all season, especially playing with a struggling Ty. A LOT of the posters who gave him too much shit this season will be the first ones complaining if we don’t replace his adequate play on that 3rd pairing role.

He only had to make those defensive plays because his skating didn’t allow him to make the first simple play.

He can still do some things but he’d be a nightmare to play with because you can’t trust his movement.

I don't understand how people are so high on one player (Blackwood) after having two bad seasons, but are so down on Ty Smith with just one bad season.

Goals and things described as “burst of speed” from Smith. Better late than never I guess lol.

But sophomore slumps for defensemen are real. (Less so for forwards.)

Still highly skeptical of Bahl being NHL caliber, but his last two games have been his best in the NHL.

Thought Siegenthaler would just be a bottom pairing guy or Ben Lovejoy at the most. He's been far better than that.

I'm down on Smith, but I never understood why he was written off. He was pretty damn good last year.
