This will be an easy win for the Senators.

Last game was fun to watch. The way they are playing reminds me of the prime Karlsson days or the pizza line.

Definitely showing he's a good depth option. Perron could be a little while yet so that could mean more time for O

Disappointing that Zub isn't quite ready yet but I'd rather they play it safe with him.

I haven't watched much of Buffalo this year, but it looks like special teams might be what's causing their struggles. I think we need to take them more seriously than their record would suggest.

It'll probably be Ostapchuk, although I'd be OK with Cousins sitting as well. He hasn't been bad at all but I've actually enjoyed MacEwen's play this year.

Tkachuk - Stü - Greig
Giroux - Norris - Batherson
Perron - Pinto - Amadio
Ostapchuk/Gregor - Gaudette - MacEwen
Cousins

That would be my preferred forward group right now. I think eventually Gaudette probably cools off and we see a 4th line of Cousins - Gregor/Ostapchuk - MacEwen. We actually have some nice 4ht line options this year. We need to add defensive depth, IMO.

My lineup is similar with a slight tweak:

Tkachuk - Süperstar - Perron
Giroux - Norris - Batherson
Greig - Pinto - Amadio
Gregor - God Dette - MacEwen
Cousins

Perron prefers RW and I would like to put him with Stu after he gets his feet back after missing games. I also do not mind Perron-Pinto-Amadio, so it's a win-win. Greig, despite not able to score at this time, fits anywhere in the line-up.

Cousins is not playing bad and he might need to sit. That's forward depth. Thanks Mr. Staios.

I agree their record doesn't flatter them

5v5 They are ahead of the Sens in
SCF%
HDCF%
SV%
CF%

We should not take them lightly. Its a Divisional game and the Sens should bring their A game

They are gonna be desperate. We need to attack and attack like we have been, or this will be a lot tougher than it needs to be

I'd say shit could go down tonight to prevent the Sens from coming back to Canada after the game....but then you remember they're in Buffalo and nothing ever happens in Buffalo.

I sincerely hope this team is beyond any notion of there being a team they can afford to take lightly.

Their play so far indicates they're rounding the corner to consistent effort, and that cautious optimism is hard to ignore
So Zub not playing is more conditioning and getting up to speed than it is symptom related I assume?
Based on his interview after yesterdays practice, seems like it. I'd rather he get some reps in after being out for a bit anyways. Our recent play can afford him missing another game

Why are the games being played every after 3 days it seems. What happened to the gold old days where there was a game every second day

I hadn't realized we suck on the road.

Really need to start winning on the road to have a chance at the playoffs.

I just love how most of the SN panel reacts when anyone brings up the Sens.

They all just ignore the comment and instantly talk about Toronto.

I think Friedman knows that's complete BS (but hey, business is business) and has some fun with it

We played lights out against the Rangers and the Knights but lost anyway so while the record doesn't reflect it, we do not in fact suck on the road(Colorado exempted).

Against lesser competition, I expect the wins to start coming in.
