Big game. Turning point. Biggest event going down Nov. 05, 2024. World changing.
An opportunity to make a statement about where this team is at this season.

Win handily and you put Buffalo in its place and show that this team can perform at a high level with the best in the league.

Lose and this team fails to show it can play a consistently solid game and get wins/points early in the season, particularly against teams that are lower in the standings.

Please don't make me lock the GDT thread for off topic politics....
KICK THE OFFENDERS OUT!

f*** you Buffalo the cup is ours bitch!
OK Aaron!

Throughout human history, fortunes have been won or lost on the field of battle. From the first hunter-gatherers developing weapons to fend off would be scavengers, to the arenas of ancient Rome, through to the modern era, where we pit team vs team in highly organized events broadcast around the world that last for longer than they probably should. Where people inherit their parents team, not through any sense of logic or choice, but through the sheer weight of expectation and cultural belonging. Where facts give way to an unending belief that your team, not theirs, is right and deserves to win.

Thousands of years of human history, all culminating tonight...

...In Buffalo losing because our team is the better team who deserves to win and if you think otherwise you can kiss my ass. I don't care about your facts - fake news!

Get f***ed Buffalo!
Must have taken several "uppers"!

Just imagine when Zub, Pinto and Perron are back.

Subtract Hammer, Macewen and who from
the line up?
Who = Cousins but could also be Ostapchuk.

shout out to Trent Mann for drafting these starters. Interesting ompanrong to Buffalo:

Tkachuk - Stuztle - Greig
Norris - Batherson
Pinto - Ostapchuk

Sanderson
Chabot
Kleven - JBD
Cherry Picking! Any negative picks?

I hadn't realized we suck on the road.

Really need to start winning on the road to have a chance at the playoffs.

I just love how most of the SN panel reacts when anyone brings up the Sens.

They all just ignore the comment and instantly talk about Toronto.

I think Friedman knows that's complete BS (but hey, business is business) and has some fun with it
Friedman has no soul!

That a yikes take from me, probably my favourite flavour growing up. But I had to quit chips, which is probably just as shameful.
I like All-Dressed, Ketchup, BBQ and Salt & Vinegar. But my stomach can no longer handle chips as they are too greasy!

Disappointing that Zub isn't quite ready yet but I'd rather they play it safe with him.

I haven't watched much of Buffalo this year, but it looks like special teams might be what's causing their struggles. I think we need to take them more seriously than their record would suggest.
The Senators have to take every team and game seriously; they have not done that for many years and played themselves out of a playoff spot too early. Its time to start playing like a serious playoff team and win against the weaker competition.

I'm expecting a big game from Ullmark tonight. I think he will show us all tonight what he really is and be the story.
I hope he plays well and gets a shutout facing only 25 shots. The team needs to dominate Buffalo by outshooting them by about 40 to 25 and scoring at least 4 goals while allowing none!

That would be a positive statement game!

Salt and Vinegar and Jalepeno are right up there for me, but in order to keep eating Pizza I have to cut back on basically all other junk food and carbs.

Brings me back to the Lays commercial with Merk Messier

That's why of the two top sports networks in Canada by viewership they are ranked 3rd.

Bottom of the barell analysis and hosts.

I liked how Botterril gave Grieg shit for getting crosschecked in the head during that leafs game. Dude is a hypocrite

Definitely need the win today and come out strong, but I'm looking for Ullmark to make his mark here. I think tonight against his former team is it.
I hate sour cream and onion but I enjoy All Dressed. But it's right at that threshold.
Fair. I could at least stomach all dressed if absolutely necessary, even if I'd rather go hungry, but I used to fight with my brother just for opening his Sour Cream & Onion or SC & Cheddar around me, let alone actually consume that stenchy filth. While I'm at it, Dry Parmesan Cheese was the same battle. When we had spaghetti, I'd go eat elsewhere. Good times.
