If you put Timo Meier or Jesper Bratt onto the Leafs side for the third period tonight and forgot about the cap for a moment, do you think their presence fixes the low focus, low motivation levels of Matthews, Marner and Nylander?

The problem is not cap, roster construction or Berube. These guys just have a low effort culture and are free to sleepwalk however they want and there are no consequences when they come to work not mentally into it.
