Quoting the Venerable Grapes, I think it kind of does make sense when you've got room full of "Alphas".
Pick the league and there's always a dude who is deferred to even the most incidental way because that's how hierarchies work; Defer to the best because you know you're not better and count outperform and so you defer in small ways that lead to big outcomes.
It looked like a bunch of hesitancy was unlocked when Matthews went down. Even the interviews were team focused in a way I hadn't seen since Quinn's time here.
I'm not saying you move Matthews...But...something's definitely up with our dynamic. And note: Marner looked fantastic during that time -- like pre-big money Marner fantastic.
Is infuriating a strong enough word here?
