Yup. What’s wild is that some don’t seem to think that structure is a problemMeier + Hughes + Hischier + Bratt = 32 million
Matthews + Marner + Nylander = 35 million

Everyone on the dam team from Shanny on down needs to take an honest look in the mirror…….even the delusional few who thinks they are doing fine.before we continue I just want to ask one question: do you believe this dip in play has no impact from goaltending? Like is woll of no blame during the past 25 games and it's all on the team?
if so then we should just agree to disagree as I don't see us changing each other's opinions
Well AM got multiple Rockets, MM got high IQs and Willie is Willie, lol.Yup. What’s wild is that some don’t seem to think that structure is a problem

Wrong jersey. When WE do it, the NHL suddenly has rules.
They can take this game with a strong 3rd. Better take care of that Hughes/Bratt combo and stay out of the box because a 2 goal deficit sounds scary.
This 100%.No impact from goaltending? Absolutely not. Woll is in a slump the last 5 or so especially.
But I've been watching this team being outworked, outshot, mentally small plays where they just quit skating in key moments and let insane chances against like after they score a goal or other times they take momentum.
Simply put, we potentially are going to have 3 of the top 10 highest paid forwards in the NHL next season and the result is 13th in the NHL for goals for and the 20th ranked PP in the NHL. Not acceptable to be blaming our 700k goalie to me.
And I believe NJD players all signed long term deals.Meier + Hughes + Hischier + Bratt = 32 million
Matthews + Marner + Nylander = 35 million

It’s a problem. They’re one of the worst passing teams in the league and they can’t move the puck well on the PP. How can they not fix that ?Ive been saying this about Marner for years. He gets the puck and thinks hes a QB who is supposed to make the play. Just move the $%@ken puck.
Reports were that Savard had the PP out in practice and was making them make quick touch passes. Apparently it didnt change anything.
and it's not like they paid 3 bums eitherMeier + Hughes + Hischier + Bratt = 32 million
Matthews + Marner + Nylander = 35 million

We can thank good luck that Matthews is only for 3 more after this because he is fading due to continual injuriesAnd I believe NJD players all signed long term deals.
If he tries the majority of the time it does make him betterOh, come on.
Even if it were a goalie issue... which it isnt, the Leafs probably have the least money invested in net and D and the most money spent on a small group of forwards. This team is built to outscore there defensive problems. Which they cant.before we continue I just want to ask one question: do you believe this dip in play has no impact from goaltending?
