I am from Toronto and will say the NJD were the way better team tonight. Leafs got some solid goaltending that kept them in it.

Moving forward, the Devils are a fast, super high skilled team. Exciting to watch. Give them a few seasons to mature and look out.

As far as the leafs go, they are finished. Failed build that is entering a rebuild that most fans can’t admit.

You have 3 of the best players in the world. I wouldn't say finished.

There are even mentions of that play meriting a penalty.

I’m a Leaf fan and even though I think the refs made the right call in each goal called back, I get why the fans at the arena with no benefit of repeated tv playback would be as pissed as they were. You get wrapped up in it with the beer and mob mentality. They witnessed 3 goals called back, I’ve never seen that. I remember screeching and accusing the refs of corruption at one of the Leaf playoff games last years. The beers don’t bring out the best in you

Goaltending has been fantastic this year, much better than anybody expected. Murray has a .926 and Samsonov a .921 (both top 8 in the league).

Not sure why Matthews having a sub-par 20 games outweighs the rest of his career and there has been absolutely no indication besides other fanbases speculating/hoping that Matthews wont resign.

Not sure why that matter where’s a precedent already set of that being called a goal. That’s the point?

Yes, as per NHL direction.

No potentially controversial calls are to be shown as a replay in the stadium.

The same happens in other sports as well.

Im not a fan of either team, but none of those goals were as black and white as you're making it seem. Pretty reasonable to be upset as a fan, not sure I've ever seen 3 goals disallowed in a single game, let alone all on one team
