You’re right. This team is too undermanned to beat a team like this most nights.

However, the Capitals are not a team that we’re too undermanned to beat.

Teams that are willing to be patient defensively cause the Devils issues and often cause the Devils to press to make a play when they shouldn’t.

Being patient is harder when Hughes is playing because you can’t give him time.

Yes the major difference from two years ago is that they have more offensive fire power and individual talent dragging them into wins.

They clearly have the ability to play a structured game. We saw that last season. Right now it's not clicking. It's frustrating but there's still a lot of time left and we're missing our 2 top C's.

I'll say I'd like some simpler hockey and more structure while 2 of the top guys are gone.
