I'd only trade Severson if he can be packaged for an impact player like a Tkachuk or Nylander. Interestingly, both Calgary and Toronto are pretty desperate at RD.

If I'm Fitz, I'm trying to get a deal worked around Severson and Tkachuk. Get it done Fitz. About the only player I'd be comfortable trading Sev for now.

I’m selling too low on Severson otherwise. Having Bratt + whatever you trade Severson alone for would probably be more worthwhile in my mind.

So I've read here for months that Nylander was a soft player with a bad attitude and no intensity. Now we're considering him in a Severson swap? Has the opinion on him changed that much? I personally wouldn't mind Nylander, just thought it was curious.

No but the assets at the TDL probably gains them a 1st and a prospect. So it's basically Bratt+1st+B level prospect for Chucky. I think that's a pretty good return for them. Also depends on whether they plan on competing or not.

Yes, as much as it pains me to say that, yes. I love both of them and feel this fanbase underrated Severson. So much though that he'd be an All Star in my opinion on a different team, but I'd absolutely do that. Tkachuk is EXACTLY what this team needs. Having said that, I wouldn't have done those two for Gaudreau, that's how much I think Tkachuk fits here.

I am team "cap space doesnt matter" but they cant realistically afford Bratt + Tkachuk right now, even if they dump Johnsson

I absolutely would, it would suck to lose Bratt but I think tkachuk would balance out the top 6 really well and is something we need still
