Its a waste having Tank on pp2 with his shot..problem is,they won't replace Kane with him.

This is the change that needs to be made. I’d even put Panarin on PP2 to play with Kane.

The PP can’t go 0-8 across two close games at home without changes being made. Check the egos at the door or lose the series.

I get people are angry but this team 4 days ago looked like they were gonna sweep the Devils. They are still that team.

Here’s the thing- this team has 0 killer instinct- none. It’s why every series went 7 last year and they blew their shot at the finals by blowing a lead vs Tampa. It’s really not a good sign that this series seems to be heading in exactly the same direction.

It's the defining feature of this franchise.

we have no answer to the NZ clog right now, just nothing. We dealt with this against Carolina last year and yet somehow managed. I really hate to say it, but if we had a Zegras or Stutzle right now, we'd have that ability to drive things forward and that energy would trickle down to others. We need to find a way or it's f***ing over.

Game 5 is must win in every sense of the word and I expect us to go balls to the wall after experiencing a disaster like this. Gallant is fuming behind the scenes, I hope.

Couple things Ive noticed the past 2 games:

-missing a ton of shots wide, seems like a lot the past 2 games

- Shesty has been run into/ disrupted a lot the past 2 games and the Rangers have done nothing to make the Utica goalie any kind of miserable.

-Panarin, thanks for all the regular season successes, but so far his past 2 playoff years have not been good enough. It would be great to get a playoff interview with him, but because of 'reasons' he doesnt have to answer to anything. I would be okay with this somewhat of he was producing..

Get rid of all three of them if that floats your boat.

It's ridiculous to try to deflect attention away from how bad certain established team stars and leaders have been by trying to point the finger at the kids that are completely blocked by the very existence of those stars and team leaders. That might be the most amateur thing ever. It's like criticizing fourth liners for why a power play is not doing well. The kids have been insulated on purpose to keep the vets and stars and positions to have prime time, and when the vets and stars don't do anything with prime time you can't turn around and blame the people blocked by them. Sure the kids could be better, but it's like being in a car accident and noticing that you have a flat tire when the entire front end of the car is missing...

But I'm with you here. They were supposed to be our next two franchise guys once Zibanejad and Kreider aged out.

They'll be career middle six players, but this organization needed them to be top line player and they just ain't it. Move on and get what you can for them, but don't throw them in the trash like Kravtsov. Get some players that can f***ing skate but maybe with a higher floor but lower ceiling in their spots and the team is better off moving forward honestly.

I hate the piss ant but Stutzle instead of Lafreniere and this team is a Cup favorite even over Boston.

I’m tired of going after big free agents signing them to crazy contracts, and they disappear on the biggest stage. Rather go through a longer rebuild and draft and develop our players, then add the missing pieces we need to contend.

I wouldn't go that far. I think they will both be very solid players. I could see them both being 60 point players with some PP time.

They can do it somewhere else. Who cares?

I'm not losing sleep over it if Lafreniere moves and becomes a slower, dumber Vince Trocheck.

Nothing lol. It’s so funny that the team is filled to the brim with veteran stars, but at the first sign of trouble it’s the 22 year olds fault.

This is very true. There are going to be some really tough decisions in the off season if they lose against the Debbies. Mika and Panarin have been disappointments. I could see Panarin being moved if he would waive his NMC.

Panarin currently has 0.5 PPG in this playoffs.

That's f***ing terrible but Lafreniere put up 0.45 in the playoffs last year and people wouldn't shut up about what a breakout it was.

The argument that Laf and Kakko are disappinting is fine. The line that Laf and Kakko aren't competent middle 6 players isn't.

We aren't tied in this series because of a talent gap. NYR have the better roster on paper. It's execution and tactics.

The Kravtsov draft was crap in general. Miller is better than most of the guys picked in the first round that year.

That ship sailed and it will never happen here again as long as Dolan owns the team. It sucks. At this point we just need the highly paid players to play like they can instead of how they want to. Same story for three years now...
