Lafreniere played that game like it was a preseason junior hockey game in middle of nowhere Canada that he could care less about. He has been a joke in this series. Really has.

Someone earlier said it’s time to move on from Laf and I think they’re right. He’s been here for 3 years and he continues to make the same mistakes he made as a rookie. I also still continue to not see what he is actually good at. Not defensive, can’t skate, shot is meh, playmaking is meh….. at least kakko and chytil have some talent ppl can pinpoint.

Toronto hasn't won a playoff series in 20 years and Edmonton has hardly done much better with the best player in the world on the team. I wouldn'y be using them as examples for playoff success.

Zibenejad's game is built on the PP. Kane on PP1 and Zibanejad doesn't touch the puck pretty much at all the last 7 chances. TAKE KANE OFF THE PP1. That PP1 core has been excellent for years now

how about they keep kane on and take panarin off? what has panarin done on the pp? kane has at least produced.

Panarin had more points this year than Kakko has in his career.

FWIW, I still think Kakko turns into a player in this league. Jere Lehtinen reincarnated. Responsible two way player that pots 25-30 and 55-60 points a year. I just don't think it's going to be here.

Lafreniere is getting dealt this summer for a 2024 top 10 protected 1st rounder.

People are seeing the light, yay! Been saying it for a year. The Rangers missed their chance to hoodwink Montreal last summer.
