Development Camp 2022 (July 10th-13th)

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Guess it is true we hate Russians lol, they are not even mentioned, would think they would at least write in the release that they are unable to attend. They have been cancelled! Harris also not on the list surprisingly.
 
Chisholm is Xhekaj 2.0. Had some bad luck with a serious injury in 19-20, missed 20-21 due to COVID and was seriously under-utilized on the Steelheads. It happens.

At 6’4 and 225+ he is a physical presence and is a hella good skater for a player his size. He was invited for a reason.

Pierrick Dubé...that's probably his pre-Lions camp. Same with Savory. Joyce and Chisholm...never seen them play but kids, even if you suck statistically...you can be called to a Dev. Camp!
 
Wonder why no Mysak or Norlinder. Also hope we get some info on Jack Smith, where is he officially playing next year, I assume he will be back in the USHL since he's barely played the last 2 seasons. I still think he can be something, just need him to stay healthy and it would be cool to see him play with Biondi.

I know Mysak is in town. Marc Dumont posted a picture of them together yesterday.

Gorniak is pretty much done as a prospect since his rights expire in a month (same for Stapley).

Harris is at the stage he doesn't need to attend these (he did in 2018 and 2019 and then they didn't have any in 2020 & 2021). At least that's my guess why he won't be at the camp.

Hillis might be the same case as Harris. Both probably preparing for the rookie camp and the main camp.

Gordin & Kostenko surely stayed in Russia. And I think Sobolev went there for the summer. So my guess is all 3 of them will be staying in Europe.

They will keep Gorniak's rights another year, he's opted to return for his 5th year in the NCAA (not that it matters)

Hillis should be there, surprised he's not but he is old for it so maybe that's why.

I was expecting Mysak not to be there but for injuries issues. Not because he's somewhere else.

Both Harris and Norlinder are shooting for NHL spots, have already went to several Dev camp and are 22 years old.

RHP and Ylonen are not there either.

I thought Norlinder would be there because he missed so much time last year plus I thought it would be good for Heineman and Engstrom to have him there. Not a big deal just thought he might be there.

Also, if you’re drafted from a European league in the first round and have no North American rights, I understand you can play in the AHL. Wonder if that is applicable to both Slaf and Mesar.

Any one wiht a rule book know?
