Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. With the amount of prospects we have, I suspect there won't be that many invites to development camp.

It's probably going to be more information collection on guys going back into the draft or people for AHL contracts.

Jacob Guevin is a guy I'd like to see get an invite, I was always a big fan of his puck skills . I picked him late in our mock IIRC. He's going to the NCAA though so I guess he wouldn't get a deal out of it.

Mianscum is a teammate of Roy with the Phoenix so I guess they saw him often. Rheauime is the nephew of Manon and his father Pascal played in the NHL, interesting that he is coming here considering his aunt just got a job working with prospects for Los Angeles.
As well, with the high number of NCAA and Euro prospects, they need to look for some warm bodies for the rookie camp, and if they sign younger players, the contracts slide and do not count yet. A player like Hopkins could decide to switch to the CHL instead of going to Maine in 2 seasons if he sees a contract in front of him.
Would add Brayden Schuurman who somehow didn't get drafted.

- Hopkins is an 18-year old RD
6'2" and 174 lbs
He was second in scoring among D on his team with 31 pts (7G, 24A) in 47 GP. It was his rookie year in the BCHL. He also had 6 pts (2G, 4A) in 12 playoff games.

Size. As of now, usually, not saying it won't happen, but most dev camps invitees were smurfs in past years.

I think we saw with the prospect acquisitions and the draft that size and skill is important to them and unless you are super skilled,, undersized players need not apply. So far all the invites are from Quebec and the Maritimes as well. The invites so far give the impression that they actually decided who they want as opposed to previously seeming as though it was more a case of who was available or not invited to other camps, with many choices making you wonder why they were invited in the first place..
