Is it time to start selling, bring up Berggren and Edvinsson

No, too early. No way Yzerman is selling until the deadline if at all. Unless we are 15 points out by the All Star game. He finally started investing some capital into the NHL roster and even if the goal was never was playoff or bust, if you can believe what management says I still think we are riding this team for the most part until the deadline. Not playing well enough to give up future assets to make a push, and not bad enough to panic. Yet.

Bring up Berggren, we need offense. Bring up Ed, we need better D-Men. Bring up Cossa, WILDCARD!

Husso gave up 2 trash goals on 6 shots, that's a problem. Anaheim had 12 shots in the 2nd/3rd combined and lost every measurable statistical category(FO%, Shots, Shot attempts, Ozone time, takeaways) other than blocked shots. You can't give trash teams 3 goal leads on soft goals.

This. Husso was an absolute sieve last night. That said, I'd be ok with seeing if Ed can improve our defense any. I'm ok with Maataa, Holl, or Petry (even though he scored yesterday) sitting out for a game or two.

I think our poor goaltending has like 80-90% to do with running journeyman goalies that lack talent and maybe 10-20% on coaching.

I mean look at the names we have run in net over the last 2-3 years: Nedeljkovic, Greiss, Hellberg, Pickard, Husso, Reimer, Lyon

That is pretty much a grab bag of rejects of goalies teams didn't want for one reason or another.

That says everything you need to know. Jim Bedard was not singlehandedly propping up our goaltending. If he was, he would probably still be coaching in the NHL.

He wasn't single handedly propping up our goaltending, but just imagine if our goaltending was 10% better. We'd be near the top of the standings instead of a fight for the middle.

Also remember when Debrincat lead the league in goals? Been awhile. Was just a fluke. Man is the guy streaky. What is his issue??
As someone else here pointed out - he’s like Slava Kozlov - great shot, but streaky and more often than not he needs someone else to feed him and/or do some of the dirty work.
