Pretty sure this trade was made with the sole intention of moving the 2nd in the Walman deal. I don't think this deal happens if the Walman one doesn't.

This could really come back to haunt Detroit. I'm a big fan of Gibson. Had him in the twenties on my draft list and watched him a bunch while checking out Kudraytsev.
Was really hoping the Nucks could get him before moving the 2nd rounder. Kid is still raw but has all the tools to be a really good top4 in a few years if he can progress the right way.
Weird trade i would have been all over this if i was a GM. Nashville has a lot of really good prospects and just added a underrated stud RD one
