A lot of it has to do with Dorion being a doofusDoes Cat want out, or do the Sens want him out? WTF?
How many of those are PP vs ES.Over his 6 seasons he has averaged 34.1 goals.
Someone is going to want him. I think this year hurt his chances at 9.5 million.
I am really curious what he will get and who will get him. Do the Wild have anything that could work / cap space available?
Caulfield just got ~8 as an RFA, and is far more one dimensional. No one is paying a one dimensional undersized goal scoring winger that much money. He's never scored 80 points and doesnt drive a line. He had good linemates last year and they got folded in on 5 on 5. Great complimentary player on a team with size pace and good analystics not a good fit on the sens roster.
Trade great young players. Is for me always Stupid.
Sens will be cap strapped signing him to &9MDoes Cat want out, or do the Sens want him out? WTF?
There's a feeling he doesn't mesh well with DJ Smith and probably want to commit because of that. Unfortunately that won't be resolved until the sale of the team is complete in 2035.Does Cat want out, or do the Sens want him out? WTF?
sounds like he doesnt want to be there. maybe a canada thing. maybe a locker room thing. hard to say.Why won't the Sens just re-sign Cat? What was the point of trading for him?
Caufield also had 4 yrs of team control, not 1 yr from UFA.Caulfield just got ~8 as an RFA, and is far more one dimensional.
Based on a few deals and expectations for the likes of similar producing players, Debrincat will be looking 8-9.5.
2022 offseason champion.A lot of it has to do with Dorion being a doofus
I can see that happening.Debrincat for Dubois
This Nashville fan would love to add him, but I don't think Saros is anywhere close to in the discussion. Askarov maybe but not sure on that. I'd question if we decided Askarov was in open trade options, that we couldn't use him to target a better option in fit (concerns of what DeBringcat is going to ask for or even extend). I was hoping like a Tomasino and one of our picks could get it done, but even that seems to get pushback from most of our own board.
Both teams would be ecstatic to trade away each guy for a guy who will leave in a year.Debrincat for Dubois
If Dubois goes to Ottawa, that’s going to be one bad ass f***ing mean team.Debrincat for Dubois
A stones through from Quebec. Hell he can even live in Gatineau if he wants.I can see that happening.
The most desirable thing about Ottawa is its proximity to Montreal. And that might be enough for PLD.
DeBrincat makes sense for us if we either move Duchene(32 vs 25) or Tomasino who he'd be a clear upgrade over. I guess it depends on where Trotz sees us. I wouldn't want to deal either of our goalies for him that's for sure.
And eat all the shwarmas and poutine he desires. Win-Win.A stones through from Quebec. Hell he can even live in Gatineau if he wants.
Doesn’t want to sign long term, or possibly any term.Does Cat want out, or do the Sens want him out? WTF?
Why can't you do nyi 1st?DET: 2024 BOS 1st + 2023 2nd (41st) + Albert Johansson
OTT: Alex Debrincat
Does that move the needle? Does it have to be a slightly better prospect such as Wallinder?
