Georgiev still had a negative game in GSAx and sub .900 sv%

let's not get crazy. He made some big saves... yes. He's been better than his previous games... but he's still a massive detriment. Kinkaid was always the better choice.... but our front office doesn't know what to do with Georgiev... same with Hajek..

Just pray Shesterkin stays healthy

The fact that we are 9-3-3 with him playing like this is astounding

you know he was the first shooter for us, right?
Which is ironic since he never shoots the puck anymore and his shootout attempt looked weak and uninspired, did he even try? Awful shot, awful game.

And I'm a huge Mika fan. He used to play for my favorite team in Sweden.

He's playing like a little perimeter bitch with no confidence.

He needs to shoot the puck.

He's either injured or his confidence is completely shot, I'm leaning towards it's a confidence thing.

Look at the OT, he could've had a breakaway, instead he slowed down, waiting for Panarin who's been on the ice for 2 minutes. Just deke the G or go for a snipe Mika, christ.

I said this and I stand by it. If Mika had Ovechkin's/Matthew's confidence he'd be at double digits by now. Mika got a real good shot. But he hides on the ice 5v5... I dunno what the hell has happened to him, it's alarming. Does he have the drive to play hard(er)? Does he have the drive to elevate his game and win anything?

He needs a sports psychiatrist.

Good guy Gallant will give Lafreniere a chance again on the top line.

I wouldn't mind that but as I've said before Lafreniere needs to learn to play rw because as it looks Kreider is and should be stapled to the top line and playing well so why move him?

Like most teams, the Rangers regularly practice shootouts. The coaches know who can and can’t perform. Kreider had all of one attempts in his career before tonight. What does that tell you?

I thought the Rangers played pretty well but I was definitely impressed with the Devils. They are not the shithole we are used to seeing. Nice balance on their lines and their defense moved the puck well. What they lack is star power.
The Devils are good, and most importantly, they aren’t the Islanders or the Jacques Lemaire Devils. Games against them are entertaining.

They expose how slow we are and how slow we play.

The amount of time and space we gave them is absurd. We were backing up all game, scared of their speed.

Mika is a slow starter. He is like a mile and half long train that needs some time to get going. Once it's going it can't be stopped.
