What do we think? Vatrano being Kakko placeholder for now. Vatrano can play with Motte and Rooney? Move Goodrow down and Vatrano up? Gallant has tons of options.

Vatrano should most definitely be playing over Reaves and be where Goodrow is with goodrow moving down to the 4th line.

Would be rare if all three would up “important” especially with Rangers track record of developing forwards. I’d be shocked if at least one isn’t traded in the next 2.5 years. I think it would be very stupid not to have Kakko as 3RW with Goodrow and Copp. That’s your shutdown line right there. And has the makings of a damn good one. Fits Kakko’s skill set better too.

Maybe, but all of them are having terrific seasons and if even 2 of the 3 are solid contributors it's a win.

Be sure to emphasize the "illegal order" part when you're standing in front of the people about to hand down your sentence for failure to obey a direct order during wartime. Not trying to be a smartass, but sitting down to discuss the decisions of those appointed over you isn't an option in the military. Been there, done that for 21 years

For some I guess killing elderly and kids is a preferable result

And you think the Rangers aren’t going to try to do anything in the summer? Or at the next deadline? They could draft someone better. A lot can happen. They recognized Barron wasn’t good and acted accordingly. That can happen with any of those guys as well. Rangers are not going try to just sit on their hands. They are going to take some swings.
