That's a problem with forums like these, unless people decide to get together in real life, rare I think, people just are no longer here. Since Sbah was an older guy and so passionate a poster, I'm thinking the worst unfortunately.
He disappeared during the covid period. We suspected the worse at the time.

I think he has been fine.

He looks like he is going to be an elite defender and a strong 200 foot player. I am still not sold on his offensive upside but am not ruling out large steps in this area.
I seen him a bit sloppy at times but also looking defensively elite.

With his team being so bad it’s hard to gage his game right now. I don’t know if he’s improved over last year significantly but that can still come as the year goes on.

I think he can be better but I’m not worried at all.

He was getting up there in age, north of 70. I hate saying it, but I'm kinda fearing the worst too

Of course not, especially for a defender, but there are concerns with his game beyond his PPG. @montreal always points out the good and the bad from his games and he is far from a hater.

Point is his all around play is not as good as it was last season. Yes, it is early and he is coming off an injury. I am not sounding the alarm bells, but let's not act like he has been stellar. You can make excuses for him if you want, and the excuses have some merit, but if he continues playing like he has you will be upset. His play has picked up lately and let's hope that's a sign of things to come.

If you think 12 games is an excuse... So be it.

I call that simply accurate context.

Not sure I see the point in strawman arguments. Never have I posted that his play has been "stellar".

And to your comment:
"His play has picked up LATELY"

12. Games.

Maybe, just maybe, the sense of "disappointment " was premature and silly from the start because.... 12. Games.

Context. Matters.

General thinking is the worst happened.
I don't want to speculate either but I do recall him saying something like he'd seen 18 cups in his life which would place his birth in the 40s and make him nearly or over 80. Regardless 60+ is pretty dangerous in modern times with the level of obesity in the world and COVID.

Definite hfhabs Hall of famer. I completely thought he was a troll the first time I saw him post. Never saw anyone else that optimistic.

Lol. I had moments of thinking this is really over the top sarcasm or trolling, and then oh yeah, it's Sbah.

+1, 16:03 TOI - 3:39 PP, :12 PK

He's picked up 4 pts in the last 8 games and is a +3 over that span. He's making less mistakes these last 2 games, though this was the lowest TOI of the season outside the game he got injured and played only 3+ mins.

I don't know what was going on during his last shift but after he was talking to the refs for a long time.

I noticed him playing on the left side on a few shifts, do we know why?

Because Habs just drafted a another Galchenyuk type of scenario. He looks like a good young kid with good leadership ability but will play RD, LD and C few times aswell. He will ends up being a Arizona Coyote and will menace officer to kill their families.
Jesus Christ.

The Habs inability to be effective is starting to get to even the most positive person.

things are different the last 2 games because Beaulieu is out as he was on the top pairing with Reinbacher. Some times you will see him on the left side to cover but he almost always is at RD.

I value Reinbacher as our next top paie dman in the futur. This is more valuable than any futur top 6 a la Leonard, Benson. The only debate was with Michkov. This is not because Benson is aleeady playing in Buffalo than he is going to be a better player. Even if I really like Guhle. I see Reinbacher to be a better all around dman. There is no price for this even if we have a ton of D in the pipeline
