any chance he plays with the Rocket?
Nemec and Jiricek did pretty good in the A last season and i know management likes to keep players close like Mesar in the OHL
They bet alot on him with #5 so maybe they prefer our coaches over the Swiss league
Only thing is i know nothing about the Laval Rocket so idk if theres space for him
Pretty sure I seen a while ago that it was the NL or NHL for him. He'll be logging big minutes other there anyways. Last year he was playing a lot.any chance he plays with the Rocket?

The boomers are likely already forgetting those years from the past. I'd reckon you're on par with them about not seeing a Cup while you are both alive.Me too, the boomers were spoiled... We can't even watch and enjoy a PPG+ player.![]()
Watch it. We are X and we remember! The boomers are likely already forgetting those years from the past. I'd reckon you're on par with them about not seeing a Cup while you are both alive.
I'M X and I remember -- don't know for how long, though -- but the boomers have a very blurry memory by now...Watch it. We are X and we remember!
Ha, well a boomer is just three years before me, so I do think some do remember.I'M X and I remember -- don't know for how long, though -- but the boomers have a very blurry memory by now...
It's gaining on you quickly too, don't worryHa, well a boomer is just three years before me, so I do think some do remember.
When Hughes has finished building his team, maybe they'll bring Bergevin back.He should have enough assets to acquire end of the road NHLers that can get us to the SCF again, even if that means signing them to overly long and expensive contracts...The boomers, that sadly massively left us in 2020, missed the most unique award won by the Habs when they made to the SCF in 2021.
What's 24 Stanley Cup to 1 Clarence S. Campbell Bowl!
Seems like a short-sighted decision. I really wish the Habs would finally let their top prospects develop on their own teams without doing silly things like this. Many other teams do it and the players turn out fine. It's not like the Habs meddling has yielded much success, I don't know why they keep doing it.He already attended the practices and played 2 pre-season games there. Their season starts september 15th. But yeah, he’ll got back there when his team will already be well into the season, not really ideal.
He's here for camp and then going back. Seems alright to me but you never know I guessSeems like a short-sighted decision. NHL training camp + NHL pre-season games > NL training camp + NL pre-season games + 2 NL regular season games.Seems like a short-sighted decision. ?? Just let him play with his team.NHL training camp + NHL pre-season games > NL training camp + NL pre-season games + 2 NL regular season games.
Simple equation really
What he's 'missing out on' in the NL for a couple weeks will not be derailing his overall development as a Hockey player.. if anything, we are adding to it.
It's Hockey.
I'm personally having trouble understanding why there would be any kind of stress or worry at ALL going from preparing to play meaningful hockey by... preparing to play meaningful hockey..?
Like, are people worried about the travel or something..? I'm sure he's BUMMED out and tired yeah lol
I don't get how there's worry for a kid who's preparing to play hockey for the next 7 months in Europe, but we make him take a plane to play hockey in NA for 2 weeks at the highest level there is, and just send him right back np having learned a couple things in NA that he can bring back to Europe and work on, but some people's mindset is OMG what are they doing???? 'Why are they ruining him' ?? Like.. what? Lol
Short-sighted..? This is BIG picture planning actually.. what's short-sighted is your concern honestly
Most Euros do not come over for training camp their first year unless they are expected to make the team, because it interferes with their season. Dvorsky is in Sweden, for instance. Reinbacher should be in Europe as well. Let him play the full year there. Most, if not all, teams have their 1st rounders report for training camp unless they are NCAA players.
It's a non-issue.
????? He... WILL be playing with his team..?? After an NHL training camp. Again I want to re-iterate these letters : N H L.?? Just let him play with his team.
95 here , all I know is a bad product. My entire life. Crazy.Me too, the boomers were spoiled... We can't even watch and enjoy a PPG+ player.![]()
Exposure to the rythym of the Big Club plus the development team will come up with some "home work." It's always been a perk for the kids. Most, if not all, teams have their 1st rounders report for training camp unless they are NCAA players.

Like I said, he will miss out having continuity with his team. I'm not afraid of anything. I'm just not a fan of the decision.????? He... WILL be playing with his team..?? After an NHL training camp. Again I want to re-iterate these letters : N H L.
Again like.. why are you and others freaking out about this guy tasting an NHL training camp instead of a swiss league training camp (which he just DID anyway) and then... going to play for his team in Europe like he was going to do anyway??
I am bewildered to your bewilderness on the matter lol
I can't wrap my head around someone being 'against' being privileged enough to even BE apart of an NHL training camp and pick up a few things that might help him out at , you know, playing PRO HOCKEY, while being at the beginning of a potential NHL career?
Like what is it you are so afraid of?? He won't be able to water his plants?? His team mates will wonder where he is??
He will be 'losing' all this valuable hockey practice time..... to go practice hockey at a higher level??
Please help me out here.

We let plenty of players develop in Europe. In fact it's the opposite (ex: Slaf) that is rare. Most NHL teams let their Euros play the season in Europe. Habs never do, and then they never have as much success with their Euro picks.

It's fine. Everything he learns here during training camp, he will take back with him overseas. He'll also get a taste what he needs to work on for play at the NHL level. There's no screwing around with the kid. He's here for camp and then going back. Seems alright to me but you never know I guess
