Chevy tends to squeeze the last drop of blood out of a stone before trading a player and he tends to be patient to a fault. Even if Helly was screaming bloody murder to be traded, Chevy would be methodical and work at his timeline, not the players.

Uh ppl forget how Bob, before being in the Cup Final 3 years in a row and winning 2 Cups, wasn't having much playoff success as a goalie despite winning 2 Vezina's. Bob got the great supporting cast with the Panthers(his 3rd team in his career) and then his playoff numbers started to become very good. Jets had a few good teams in Hellebuyck's career so far, but in the playoffs those teams didn't fully put it together.
