Speculation: D'Amico: Connor Hellebuyck trade talks. Florida (or Toronto/Buffalo)?

lebrun said he's willing to be flexible to help the jets get the max return and cj said he's open to all types of situations so his NMC doesn't seem to be a big deal

Of course, but he still wants to be in control and make sure he goes to a contender. He loses control and that guarantee after next season.

Hell if I know, you just can’t count out Florida though. Not until it’s over. If this is really a target, they don’t miss.

He does it via NMC's, not magic. Helle has already given chevy a bigger list of teams to work with (bc helle wants to help the Jets get a good return, he loves the city, fans and ownership), so that free gift of being in FL won't work this time.

They’re still coming up though. You just can’t count them out.

Panthers can do it, but they need to come off of the Lundell isn't available, bc they don't have anything else of value to offer.

When I hear Panthers are willing to trade Lundell then I would consider they in the race, but until then they have no chance of beating other bids

It seems likely that Chevy drew the line in the sand wirh Lundell as the ask

IF Zito circled back, it must mean he's softening his stance (unless he called Chrvy to ask "pretty, pretty, please!")

If Zito is balking at trading his 3C, the trade could be expanded to send Barron back. He'd be great in that role in Florida

Just need to balance it out
