Almost all of our shots were muffins, low dangers, and one and dones. I can't recall any super tough save Wedgewood was forced to make. We were in and out of the offensive zone way too quickly.

Flip side we got hemmed in a lot, and were awful breaking out.

It's starting to look like a paying back of the loan we took out on winning some of those ugly ones where we were not winning in the deserve to win o meter. Particularly the Washington and Boston games. There were more that I just can't remember.

What were we on the deserve to win o meter last night? I think we were ahead on that one as well, no?

we won some games we had no business winning too. our only really good game in the month of december was against chicago. we have a rough schedule against good teams lined up and they don’t seem ready for that, in my opinion

3 games in a row now the Devils have lost (and only 1 point out of it).

Well do you expect Vitek or Schmid to be Shesterkin for a whole season? The two games after the streak ended they both made 30+ saves, the Flyer game Schmid saved our ass, but this can’t continue. He almost saved our ass tonight too but you can’t count on a 22-year old kid or a career platoon goalie to keep this insanely high level up, especially if the D is gonna start crapping out more

Tougher schedule and teams taking us a bit more seriously now. A combination of things that brought us back to reality somewhat. If we're good enough to win this division we'll adjust (I think we can) so important to bank the points and establish dominance over some weaker and average teams like they did. Schmid was outstanding on a positive note. Rather do this losing thing now than in March and just get in the dance and draw a monster team like Boston. Ya' know how 2018 ended. We are better now than that I'm sure of this.

I mean, even if that were the case, at worst that should mean the devils aren't as good as their standing and will come back down to earth around the wildcard spots, which is what probably everyone was hoping for (or was expecting).

And you know, I would've signed up for that.....PRIOR TO THE SEASON STARTING.

But now that the Devils are in THIS position, I don't want to be in a situation where missing the playoffs is a possibility.

Sorry but the Devils have raised the bar here and if the end up missing after the start they got, I will be very disappointed to say the least.
