Weise has been useless to be honest. He needs to sit to remember what his roll on this team is.

Disagree. He's taken the puck hard to the net lots, made some great plays down low as well. He cycles the puck really well. I have no idea what game you guys are watching sometimes, it is just odd.

He's been flat and I counted about 5 or 6 shifts where he did nothing but float.

+100000000000.

If we have any injuries to our top 6 (or top 9)...to me Weise is the first one to get that promotion (not Parenteau.... PAP is the one who looks like he's always floating ...he's not a playoffs' warrior BUT I want to be so wrong about that IF he comes back...IF we ever need him again... I hope not, but will try to support PAP since he's still a Hab!).

I'd take another Weise anyday on this team, especially for a Diaz.
I'd prefer another Weise over another PAP (and not just because of the huge salary difference).

Weise grew up a Hab fan and wants a CUP.

Go Weise Go!!

p.s.: none of you will agree but if I had my way...I'd still have Bourque (for playoffs and great for top 6-9 depth...especially for depth in case of injuries).

Playoffs:
Fast/big/tall/very talented PF/hot-in-playoffs Bourque>>>>>>PAP.

Weise has been fine, he just doesn't have a great set-up guy like Briere as his C like he did last year so unless DD is on his line, it was unlikely that he would repeat last years performance. In general he's still doing an excellent job banging bodies, winning footraces and cycling with Eller and DLR.

Give me any player on this team, I'll point out 5 or 6 shifts where they have done nothing but 'float'. Weise has a role right now, on the 4th line. He's doing it perfectly. He's responsible defensively, he gets the puck out, and he kills time cycling the puck in the offensive zone.

He's doing exactly what Therrien is telling him to do.... this is the job of the 4th line.

I would say, unless DD, Patche or Plekanec is on his line. That's why he get some call up when top players gets injured...

This guy is a useful for any team, no super good, but not out of place everywhere!

I'd really like a Dutch Gretzky's goal tonight, in the most important game of the series for the sens.

edit: Thank you Dale Weise <3

Did you ask for 1 goal or 2 goals? Still time for 2!!
Weise can deliver the goods. I swear I would have signed him to a 5 yr deal last season (end of season) after seeing what he did in playoffs (major major playoff warrior, major heart/big/tall/tough/underrated shot-passing-vision-hockey sense, and bonus...he grew up a Hab fan, etc).

1st liner...? yes!!!! (from time to time...more or less...and definitely brings size/energy/grit/underrated shot-passing to any line)
2nd liner...? yes!!!! (from time to time, more than less)
3rd liner...? yes!!!! (definitely!)
4th liner...? (too good to just be a 4th liner, but...he's the best 4th liner if that's what you want to hear!!!!!!)
