If he didnt injure his hand last year, he would play in WJC imo.
I think so as well. I still wonder what his problem in the OHL was, he has/had the skill and speed to be effective CHL player.

What does everyone here think about Jakub Lauko? 3rd rounder but some had him as a late 1st/early 2nd rounder. Seems to be adjusting really nicely to the QMJHL.

The line Kaut-Necas-Zadina could carry the Czech in the tournament. If Skarek could step up his game as well the Czech could surprise in the tournament.
Yeah those guys were amazing last year. Can’t imagine what they could do this time around. Expected to be very dominant.
But yes a lot will hinge on the goaltending. If it can be consistent, they have a chance to make a big stamp on the tourney.

*I don´t understand how Jakub Pour made the team, Lukaš Rousek would be better choice, that´s just bad joke.

Who is the most important player in this line? And can they dominate other best lines

The forwards and goalies are beautiful... the D, not so much. I like the D personally but they are not as strong as the Big 5. Still, our forwards look great. Hope Safin doesn't stay injured too long.

If Buchtela, Kubicek and Kvasnica are considered potential U20 players, why aren't they going to the U19 tournament? It's just paper works probably, but it's odd.
Also, I wonder what has Pour done to be on the U20s right away while Teply and Blumel have to prove themselves in the U19s.

I hope that he is not gonna make the final roster, that guy shouldn't be there, there are so many better players than him.

I really don’t think the Rangers are going to release Chytil for it, but maybe the team might decide to let him go have some fun if they’re going on a big losing streak

I don't see Chytil coming either but one can dream... they sent Pastrnak to it a few years ago (the B's not the Rangers). His offence has dried up a bit but he is still getting good minutes in NY (around 15)... unlikely. It would probably bring him back with more confidence though. It's really a short tournamnet.. he'd only miss a handful of games.

Great nomination thats better then last year.
More draft picks and skilled 19 year olds.

Hopefully no controversial cuts as usual.

Gotta love having Varada as head coach, and Elias as his assistant. This is an underrated aspect imo.
