Cyberpunk 2077 - New RPG by CD PROJEKT RED

In the settings, you can increase the front size for conversation text if that's what you're referring to.

Thanks, I didn't find the conversations so bad, but the tutorial writing and things like the buttons were hard to make out from my couch. It was just the kind of stuff that you have to get as second nature as part of the normal course of learning the game.

My sessions will probably not be too extensive per day, so I'm hoping this new update will be out fairly soon and fix performance issues further. I assume that there will be some annoying enough things but I'm hoping just to be able to leisurely play the main story and some side missions over the holidays.

It blows my mind that people still actually purchase games the day they are released.

Fool me once, shame on you.

Fool me a dozen more times, shame on me.
I think Covid definitely has some factor in this, a lot aspects are shutdown in the Western World except in a few spots like mid-America and Sweden. You seriously can't do anything right now because all the social places only offer outdoor sitting and many places it's uncomfortably cold. Personally, I am far back in my gaming catalogue so it's fine, but for others it makes sense why it was a first day purchase.

What is Microsofts policy for this? I know Sony's is if you started d/l or playing the game, you aren't able to return it.

I've played a game for weeks and returned it for not working as expected. I did most recently with Modern Warfare when it 1st released and was a gong show. I ended up buying it again when it was fixed and discounted.

They just process it with no questions asked but I'm not sure of their exact policy. You also have recourse with your CC company if PS is not playing ball.

Yeah, my backlog is actually working in my favour.

Revolvers are f***ing fun as hell. I've kinda built a subclass within my build that gives me the option to go stealth with a silenced one.

With the right perks it absolutely obliterates enemies and takes their head clean off. I love it lol.

Do have to say it's kind of funny how a silencer on something as beefy as a revolver is enough for it to somehow go unnoticed unless you kill somebody right in front of someone else.

Cyberpunk 2077? More like Big Iron 2077.

I love both the precision rifles and the big honk'in sniper rifles myself.

Perch myself someplace high up with a small choke point to even get to me, I can hold off an entire army!

Sniping one by one from outside combat range... if they move within combat range in response, and funnel themselves after me, unload on them with the deadly precision rifle.

That is... if I'm not just overheating their cyberware before they realize where I am anyway. :D

Had my first hard crash during a mission just now, which is definitely a bit frustrating on top of getting acclimated to the controls and systems (somehow managed to unequip my weapons while looking at them, and so didn't have any in the mission). Otherwise it's been pretty smooth sailing, with the caveat that I've barely played the open world. I'll keep digging into it, but definitely feels like I should tinker and get comfortable a bit more before going straight into missions. I'm hoping I can actually back out of the main mission I started and do a side job first.

What DPS are these weapons? The sniper rifle I was less than ideal and I haven't even seen a precision rifle.

I was also unenamoured with the available sniper rifles until...
I got the overwatch sniper rifle from Panam.
I have since obtained one even better.

As for the precision rifle, I forget which mission I got the first one... but it was the widow maker precision rifle that was the first one obtained.
I want to say I got it after killing Nash helping Panam get revenge.
I'm now rocking the M-179 ACHILLES.

Dps on these weapons vary depending on your level when you obtain them...I don't have the exact dps info on my current loadout as I'm at work, probably won't have time for the game again until the weekend.

You can now get a refund through SIE for those who purchased the game from the PlayStation store.

Also, Cyberpunk 2077 has been removed completely from their store until further notice. Holy shit.

Sony making an example out of them for passing the buck on refunds. Makes sense, I guess. If they're gonna make Sony do the dirty work then Sony is no longer obligated to allow them to keep getting potential sales, especially if those sales risk turning into more refunds.

For Sony to do this means the number of complaints about the state of the game and the number of refund requests had to have been so high that they couldn't possibly ignore it.

It's incredible how badly CDPR f***ed up with this game.

That’s insane. This game has been such a failure. The amount of money being lost and the reputation hit CDPR is taking is mind blowing. Id imagine heads are going to roll at that company sooner rather than later..

Putting the game out running how it is/was on current gen consoles is pretty much fraud. Such a shame.

I've been playing on a series x and have come across only a few minor bugs. It's clear what they prioritized and who the four on top could give a shit about (themselves).
