To keep it short (and not send the thread down a political hole)..... She was the Republican candidate for governor in AZ who lost. She campaigned heavily against mail in voting, and is still trying to get to election overturned.

Sure, this was posted a month ago, but it's no worse a transgression than certain others on here have done...many, many, many times.

The arena holds closer to 5100. For ASU games.
Because NHL games have much more overhead than the NCAA (TV, press, etc.) they have to take those 400-500 seats back.

It’s paywalled… but if you watched the last meeting in Tempe you’ll already know there were three votes covering the general plan change, the rezoning of the land, and the proposal itself.
These propositions allow the public to vote confirm or not confirm each of those votes.
You realize him being from another city doesn't exclude him from being wrong, right?
Or I'm simply pointing out hypocrisy where I see it.

Or.... you just can't accept people who originally thought playing in a college arena was going to be such a horrible thing and then find out it is really isn't and decided to change their minds.
Maybe just let it go. Mullett doesn't sell out. So be it. It won't sell out. I am deleting alot of what I was going to post here so, That's. Not the issue.
Multiple "people" said it would. It hasn't. Big surprise, or not big deal... Not any anther cities concerns.
I gotta call out something though.. There are not 4600 people in the seats. Even paid for, there alot of front (sectiions) of seats open.. Each game.

The arena has sold out every game, at high average ticket prices so far.
Yes. The numbers of tickets sold says so.
And that is great. But there are not 4600 people there.

Then understand that....
1) The Coyotes make more money right now per game at Mullett than they did at Glendale.
2) According to Forbes the Coyotes (like all the other teams) are in the black. I suspect that's due to the new TV contracts, but nevertheless they aren't bleeding millions of dollars as before.
3) We all know this is only a temporary solution and that the vote this coming May in Tempe is an important one.
