Boqvist is NOT a top d prospect.

y’all fling shit against the wall and feel good about it whether it’s true or not.

he’s 15 min atoi and a plug.

maybe it gets better.

yawn

If Boqvist isn't a top D prospect playing 15 minutes a night how is Perunovich any different at 16 and a half? They're both top D prospects at different points in their path but fairly similar in trade value.

I believe the value is in the neighborhood of 4 1sts.

I don't he gets quite that amount in an actual NHL trade. I get wanting it as a fan though.

Oiler fans have made a serious offer to demonstrate how much they like and respect the player.

You should want Dzingel rather than Galchenyuk. Dzingel has played with a ton of passion on a really bad team. Kid goes hard as anyone. As a Kostin replacement he’s better, I think. I’d be fine with Galchenyuk being the guy, though, if that’s what you want. Just trying to be helpful. :)

I’d rather Dzingel as a player, but I think a bit more cap leeway to finish the season is good. Blues have been screwed with the inuries/covid in mix with the cap so far. Still winning somehow, haven’t looked too heavily at the final numbers though so maybe it’d work

Broberg and a 1st for Chychrun isn’t a serious offer. It’s missing Holloway.

Could also just drop that spare forward altogether. I just assumed you might want something to replace Kostin.

I'd figure Brown or Walker would replace Kostin if he was traded away. Blues have disgusting depth for forwards.

That might be what he's worth, but there's no team in the league that would pay the equivalent of Broberg+Holloway+1st++.

If the Coyotes trade Chychrun, they should be relegated to the AHL and we should give the Roadrunners a go at the NHL level.

He's having a nightmare season, and they're heading into another rebuild. If they can get a substantial package for him, which they should, then I don't see why they wouldn't.

He's 23 and he's their best player. Should be part of the solution. If anything, they should be trying to move Gostisbehere who they got paid to take and is way outperfoming expectations

Maybe this is the big brain play to keep the team in Arizona by making them extremely undesirable to purchase

From Florida, let's really go for it this year:
Spencer Knight, Owen Tippett, Frank Vatrano (and/or Nutivaara) and a first for JC

A full futures package for a top young LD signed to a great contract for 3 more years after this one. That package is going to be massive. You are probably starting with one of your top prospects, another good prospect and at least 1 1st round pick. Whatever you end up giving up is going to hurt.
