‘23/‘24 1st (STL’s choice)

Give me a proposal where Chychrun is going to San Jose this offseason assuming a second 1st round pick with a Hertl rental. I'm interested to see what you're looking for.

Bruins should be all over this. A McAvoy - Chychrun top pair for 10 years is drool worthy.

Issue is we don't have much in the way of assets. Lysell plus Beecher and a first? Doesn't seem like near enough, but I'm not sure what else to add.

Did you miss the seth jones one that happened like 4 months ago?

Again chychrun is unique as there have not been players like him traded in the past.

You can't even seem to grasp that point.

every single time a player is traded it’s unique big boy.

And Seth Jones trade:

What of it?

I’d rather Peronuvich than Boqvist every day. And a 1st? Ooooh tons of value.

I just can’t see the Coyotes wanting a player making say 6-7 million with everything going on with them financially
Finances have NOTHING to do with that. They don’t want a player like that coming back if it represents any amount of value other than negative. Because otherwise it makes ZERO sense for the rebuild. Now, if you’ve got a player like that you’d be willing to part with a 1st to be rid of, then that’s something to consider.

Nah. I’d rather have Neighbors than Perunovich. Even if Perunovich came with a 2nd, I’d take Neighbors.

That’s fair. I don’t think that should be much of an issue for the Blues. We seem to have depth in spades as well if Dzingel is someone that needed to be omitted. Brown has looked really good for us and to be honest there’s going to be a lot of debate and hard decisions to make on who is waived. Our AHL players as well have been playing really well for us in the absence of 4/6of our top 6 for the last 5-10 games.

I think the main issue in making a deal work between both sides will ultimately be how to make cap work for us

People say things like “X team doesn’t have the assets…” and I almost always disagree. I think this is one example where it’s actually true.

Feel free to ditch Dzingel, then.

Then why are you bothering to look at comps? You are contradicting yourself.

of course you would. And it wasn't just a 1st it was 12th overall. later firsts and picks close to the top 10 don't have the similar value.

Not to mention your missing the 1st they got next year too.

Yah they also gave up pick 32 and got pick 44 but there is not much difference between them

jones got top d prospect, 12th overall and 1st next year.

Boqvist is NOT a top d prospect.

Start with Broberg + Holloway + 1st + Savoie / Lavoie

No, Bouchard anchors our right side. No go.

Broberg is a LHD, so he is movable if the Oilers are getting a LHD.

Also, a 1st instead of Holloway is a good deal for Arizona, Holloway is hurt at the moment.

lol he's 21 and had 16 points in 35 games last year.
The fact you think he's a plug shows you have no idea what your talking about

That's a big haul, man. Effectively three 1sts and a 2nd.

Barrie has value in the league, don't think he doesn't because some HF posters claim he doesn't.
Basically boils down to -

Barrie + Broberg + 1st for Chychrun

1st for Crouse

Kassian + 2nd for nothing

I think you’d be in the minority with this line of thinking. I have really high hopes for Perunovich. But Boqvist has more current nhl success as well as has a better pedigree.
