Cossa 12/18 saves in a 7-4 loss. Another big oof.
Would have thought that this was his first game in 2023 considering it's the last time someone dropped by to shit on a bad performance. For the record, I'm kidding, I know that people don't care about Cossa unless he's playing bad enough to warrant bitching and moaning.
He also went 19/21 in the first game of the back to back literally one day before this one in a 4-2 win.
He gave up 2 on 11 shots on January 8th in a game where he replaced the other goalie, who gave up 4 on 12 shots. This was Cossa's third appearance in three days, as he started and won the back-to-back games in the two previous days. January 7th, he gave up 2 on 29 shots in an 8-2 win. January 6th, he gave up 3 on 22 in a 4-3 win.
I mean even if we go back to the last time someone bitched about him, it was the December 30th game. Two days earlier he had a 35/37 night in a 1-2 loss. Even amidst all the debating that was happening on the 28th-29th, nobody (myself included) mentioned that he had a great game the night prior. People just aren't watching and don't have the standing to have a qualified opinion. Your motivation appears to be isolating and posting his bad games as a way to drag his name through the mud as much as you possibly can. And since we know you aren't watching the games, these posts are extra empty.
He has some crooked games no doubt. Over his past 10 appearances in Toledo, he is 6-3 with one relief appearance. Save percentage over that time is 0.888. In his 6 wins, it's 0.924 over 144 shots. In losses and relief, it's 0.831 over 89 shots. That includes the 35/37 night. So the takeaway is in his past 10, 7 of them are quality appearances 0.928 save percentage on 181 shots and a 6-1 record. 2 of them are true shit shows (0-2, 11 goals on 41 shots), and one of them is a relief effort in his third game in three days.
Certainly a different picture than what you'd believe by looking at the updates shared in this thread.
