Based on the context of that video, and the title of that video being "Hall comes back wearing no contact jersey" I think that actually is a no-contact jersey that McDavid is wearing.

Don't know about that. I think they were wearing the whites on game day skates because there's no contact for anyone on those days, and then the light blues for the harder practices, where they're only participating in some of the contact drills. Problem solved.
