A guy somewhere else on the internet was arguing with hundreds of people for hours and hours about how Bedard is "not jacked" and his build was "completely average" and anyone who disagreed was a puny little manlet.

even if they took away a pick, and very well maybe they should have, it would have been in last year's draft anyway.

unless, I guess, multiple first round picks over multiple drafts was the price to pay for the heinous behavior of some in our front office. I guess that's debatable.

any case, Hawks did what they needed to do and justly fired those involved. lucking out in the Bedard sweepstakes has Jack shut to do with it. it was pure luck completely in the letter & spirit of a draft lottery.

allowing for an unpredictable outcome like this is literally the point of having a lottery.
