Im not good with baseball rules. I thought their 40 man was full. Does optioned mean they took Francis off the 40 man roster? I dont think this other guy was on 40 man was he? Sorry ive never been good at baseball roster rules.

So long, douchebag. Have fun with your drones for the next 2 years.

The fact that you are celebrating this is pretty disgusting.

There are MLB players who have been charged with actual crimes who are playing today and served less than a year suspension. All were "POC's", by the way. The overreach of this sentencing is entirely driven by politics, a witch-hunt that never would have happened if Bauer didn't fit a problematic demographic.

Kind of agree here. Not sure how Osuna got away with worse.

Yikes.

The MLB investigated him for close to a year before making their judgement.

You seem to be forgiving of domestic abusers, which is your prerogative. You also seem fixated on poc for some reason, even though it has nothing to do with this case, but again, that is your prerogative.

I don't know who Bauer votes for, nor do I have any reason to believe that this is a witch-hunt against him simply because he is white, which you seem to be quite certain of.

I do know that he's an asshole though, and I do enjoy seeing assholes get their just desserts, be they white, male, or any other race or gender.

No optioned takes them off the 28 man roster(normally 26 man) but they stay on the 40 man. Capra wasn't on the 40 man and they didn't have an open spot so someone would either have to be DFA'd or put on the 60 day DL(which takes them off the 40 man). My best guess is Pearson goes on the 60 day DL because he can have a long rehab assignment while in the minors before that is up anyway but it's weird they didn't announce that at the same time

I think Bauer is a piece of shit and you won't see any tears from me over his suspension...but do not be shocked if he either wins his appeal or has it shortened significantly.

I'm unfamiliar with Ozuna's case, but it sounds like he got off way too easy, and I'm glad that MLB have corrected their mistake rather than doubling down.

Your claim is that Bauer got harsh punishment only because he's a Republican white male. It's a claim remarkable in it's lack of ambiguity, and it tells everyone exactly who you are, beyond the shadow of a doubt.
No one in the world has it harder than rich white men. No one!

Umm, he never said it was a witch hunt because he was white. Way to put words in his mouth. That was alarmingly disingenuous. He was referring to him being a pain in the ass/troll. Which if you do that stuff today you are immediately called alt right.

he was never charged, he was never convicted by a jury of his peers. In my mind he's innocent until, ready for it? Proven guilty! Accusations does not constitute guilt. He shouldn't be suspended at all imo.

Yes, speak the truth, brother! Will white baseball players ever get due justice from all of those wealthy minority female owners who run the league? Someday, let us hope.

Anyway, Bauer has access to the best lawyers money can buy - if he's innocent it should be a simple matter for him to get this ruling overturned.
